Court remands Kogi pastor for selling “b ” water

A Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in Lokoja, Kogi State has remanded Pastor Peter Michonza of the New Jerusalem Deliverance Ministry, at the Federal Correctional Centre Kabba over alleged culpable hom .

The suspect was arrested by the Department of State Security (DSS) on September 19, 2022 over allegations of running labour wards for pregnant women in his church located at Ageva in Okene LGA of the state and selling “b ” water to people.

The Kogi State Government sealed his church on Monday, September 26, 2022, and moved out over 100 people mainly young women who claimed they came for prayer and had been spent months at the place, including others mentally unstable placed under chains.

The presiding Chief Magistrate, Abdul A Umar, gave the order on Thursday, October 6, following the ex parte application of DSS to remand the accused person to enable them to continue further investigations.

In an ex parte application, the accused person was said to have committed culpable hom , causing misc@rriage and impersonation pun under sections 224,232,433 and 325 of the Kogi State Penal Code.

The suspect would be charged to the High of Justice after the preliminary investigations are concluded.

A 24-year-old final year student of Micheal Okpara University Of Agriculture MOUAU, Oluomachi Lynda Nwojo on Tuesday gave birth to Quintuplets, a set of five babies at Federal Medical Center Umuahia Abia State.

A native of Amamba Abriba in ohafia LGA Abia State, she gave birth to 3 girls and 2 boys. Both mother and babies are in good health condition.

16 year old Anita Chukwudum declared missing after leaving her home in Lagos to Abuja to meet a person she met on Facebook who promised to send her to Germany

The family of 16-year-old Chidinma Anita Chukwudum pictured above has declared her missing. Anita resides in Festac town Lagos state and was last seen on September 18.

Her mother Mrs. Uche Chukwudum who confirmed this to LIB said Anita just finished secondary school, wrote JAMB, had a good score, and is about to gain admission into the Lagos State University LASU. She said Anita secretly packed her bag from their family house on Sunday for Abuja.

Mrs. Chukwudum said it was later discovered that Anita had been chatting with a person on Facebook who promised to take her to Germany for greener pastures. She then decided to pack her bags and move to Abuja where the person she had been chatting with on Facebook promised to arrange her travel documents for her to leave for Germany.

The distraught mum said Chidinma while leaving the house left a note saying she has gone and will work towards making her family proud.

Mrs. Chukwudum said Anita's sister was able to gain access to her Facebook account and saw all her chats with the person in Abuja. She said the matter has been reported to the police. She said the security agents have been able to track the area where her daughter is but have been unable to locate the house she is being held.

She said anyone with useful information as to locate her daughter should please call 08033072719 or contact the nearest police station.

My story is very brief! These pictures were taken yesterday when my husband proposed to his side Chick while still married to me. A friend to this woman sent me these photos because she knows me. My husband said he is going on a business trip not knowing this was the plan, I called him this morning and asked him about this he just said "I will call you back" that's how he cut the phone and it has been off since that time.

I called his RELATIVES and they claim not to know anything about it they are also in shock!

My things are already packed! This is the worst a woman can go through.
