Let's talk 🤝
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO AS A MAKE-UP ARTIST
When you first got started as a makeup artist, you were probably more concerned about perfecting your art than running your business.
But, any makeup artist who has been working to make ends meet knows that getting work is…half the work!
I'm here to help you grow 🤝
So, am going to share 5 ideas for you to take your Makeup business to the next level, get more clients than you ever dreamed of, and multiply your revenue!
Here we go 🤩
✅Give your prices a glow-up
It’s important for you to price your makeup services based on
- your skill and artistry level
-the clients you want to attract
If you want to attract higher end clients, you’ll need to price your services for what they’re worth (even if it’s scary at first!).
✅Makeover your social media
Make sure your social media profiles:
Have a clear description of what you do and where you can be located.
Keep your profile picture consistent.
Choose between a picture of you or your logo. Whatever you go with, make sure to stick with that on all your profiles.
✅Commit to posting every day on Social
Many makeup artists make the mistake of creating all their social accounts, and then post inconsistently.
If you post daily, you’re much more likely to grow your following (and book more clients!).
✅Invite an influencer for a makeup service
Go on social media and find local influencers in your area.
Reach out to them either via DM or email and tell them you’d love to do their makeup for their next event.
✅Host a makeup event for valued clients to bring a friend for a free service
Another event you could host is a party for your most valued client.
Do this to honor them, and let them bring a friend who's never booked your services.
This is an excellent way to love on your current customers, and to expand your client network.
That's five!
hope this will help you as a makeup artist.
let me know what you think in the comment section.
Dear young creatives
It's a new week 💪
Look around, there are people with results in your field you can/should be learning from.
Don't follow those doing giveaway and posting stories of how many millions they make daily.
Go to those you can learn something from not those that will make you think you're a failure.
I want to see you succeed 🤝

Who no like better thing?
The word "FREE" is very powerful when it comes to marketing.
Now, one of the fastest way to capture your audience attention is giving out something valuable for free.
It can be;
✅Free Sample of your products
✅Free Consultation

Just make sure whatever you're giving out for free is realated to the product you'll sell to them later.

Do you know the number of sales you get is dependent on how many people see and know your business.
You cannot continue showing your business to the same set of people and continue to complain of no sales.
For every 10 potential buyers you show your offer to, chances are that 1 or 2 will buy.
Do you need 10 sales or 100 sales or more.
Do the maths.
Show your offer to many people so that you can have many sales.
Get a plan, get visible

One of the ways to determine how far you have come as a salesperson...
Is being able to sell anything, be it something you have used before or not.
However, as a newbie, you may naturally want to start with what you already know or have experience with.
But nothing can compete with confidence, thorough understanding, and proof.
Whether or not you have tried a product, if it works for other people, it should also work for the person you are offering it to.
All you have to do is thoroughly research the product and get evidence...
TONY way❤
Happy Sunday good people

True love is a strength not a weakness.
People who truly love each other, accept them for who they are.
They will encourage each other and bring positivity in life.
Love is about joy and fulfilment.
It's not about changing other person to suit your requirements.
If we love someone, we want them to grow and sometimes we need to direct them right but giving a direction should never become criticism.
Many times people take each other for granted and use words that hurt and discourage them.
Just because you have a relationship, it never gives you right to belittle them.
Love people for who they are and if you want to show them a way, encourage them.
Love should never make anyone feel unimportant rather make people love themselves even more.
Ladies !

When you don’t show up regularly ,no one will take you serious.
This is the sad truth.
To build trust you have to consistently show up and earn it.
When you are consistent, your potential customers know they are about to deal with someone that is always available and reliable .... not someone that only come to post randomly and zoom off again.
Inconsistency will hinder you from building a community ,give you a bad brand image , earn you no loyalty and in the end no sales.
So you see why you aren’t making sales ?
You need to start showing up consistently and see how much your business improves 😎
If you find this helpful .... like and comment.
You can’t sell to everyone !
That’s the mistake you are making ... you think everyone will buy from you and that’s why no one is buying from you.
The only people you should try to sell to are your target audience.
Before starting your business who are the specific people you intended selling to ?
Who are your target audience ?
This must be clearly defined.
If you didn’t do it at the start of your business then you should do it now.
Identify your ideal clients, do a customer survey to know their like and dislike.
Then meet them at their point of need.
Focus your energy on your ideal clients and you will get more sales .
I pray you succeed ✅
4 tips to help you find more buyers on your social media channels:
1. Don't always add links
Although social media is good at bringing traffic to your site, most platforms give less visibility to posts that contain links because they don’t want people to leave their platform.
2. Always add a CTA
You’ve probably been told this before “You don’t get if you don’t ask”. So if you don’t ask your prospects to take the next step, they might just never do that.
3. Add links in your BIOs
This is an obvious one for Instagram but works wonders also for your page and personal facebook profile.
Make sure that you have a complete Bio and links to your website.
4. Talk about what you sell
Sounds obvious but a lot of small businesses are aware that they have a lot of personal contacts on social media and become conscious of making too many offers.
Once your social media is yielding leads, you want to align it with complementary marketing efforts to amplify your results.

Get ready to take your brand to the next level with Brandgod
Running a personal social media profile, and building a brand on social media is entirely different.
Most people who run personal profiles will still come online, and build 99% of their list with the same people they know offline - (family, friends, acquaintances, schoolmates, etc), which is very fine if they so decide.
But, its a different ballgame for you, if you're trying to build a brand...
..because, brand builders are those who build new tribes from those they've never met before, close multiple deals with those who never care to know what they look like, and touch countless lives that they may never meet in their lifetime..
Brand building is about making total strangers KNOW you, LIKE you, and TRUST you, even if they'd never see you face to face.
As an aspiring "brand builder", try to move out of your shell, and quit towing the traditional line of old folks-familiarity so you can break even.
The world is waiting to witness the STUFF you're made up of.
Be your Brandgod
Customers are always a centre point in sales.
Customer Satisfaction brings an endless of sales to you.
I always said, that until you started enjoyed referrals in business there is more work to do.
This comes from good customer service.
You know that moment when you've probably stood on a spot for close to 2-3hrs, waiting for a vehicle heading to a specific destination and none is forthcoming?
And suddenly, one vehicle comes along but isn't going to your specific destination.
However, the driver says he's heading to somewhere closer to your "said destination"...
What do you do at that point?
Its only natural that you'd rush in first, then head to that destination that's close to yours, and take another vehicle from there to where you're originally headed.
The reason why you joined that vehicle is simply because its the only choice you had at the moment.
If there were too many vehicles heading to your "said destination", you wouldn't make such choice.
••••••
Now, its exactly the same thing that might be happening in your entrepreneurial life.
You might have been waiting for "the big millions" to kick off your idea, but its not forthcoming...
How about you start with the very little you have, and at least move from one point to the other?
The untold truth is that - "Every move is a move, it really doesn't matter whether you move like a Snail, or a Cheetah.
One thing that's SURE is that you'd certainly get to your destination, its only a matter of time.
Remember, Its the 11th month of the year, and it a won't be long before the year rounds up.
Kickstart that thing you've been procrastinating today, and see how fulfilled you'd be before the year runs out.
After a service delivery, or product purchase, endeavor to treat your customers & clients with the same warmness, politeness and promptness as when you were trying to sell to them.
Don't sell, and abandon them.
Its not a wise move in business. Its actually a dumb one.
Remember, you were the one on their neck when you were seeking their patronage.
Always offer a lending hand whenever they reach out to complain to you.
Give them more support after you've sold or provided a service to them.
Old, and returning customers/clients are most times, the tunnel to your breakthrough.
So, ignoring their complaints, and issues after a transaction has been, and will always remain a DUMB move.
Do you know that in 2006, three persons tried to sell Coca-Cola trade secrets to Pepsi?
By trade secret I mean recipes, product development documents, presentations and other highly valued information.
But what happened at this event?
When Pepsi was approached by these sellers, instead of buying these trade secrets, they alerted Coca-Cola immediately and helped them catch these sellers.
The twist of the story is that for ages, Pepsi and Coca-Cola have been at war for market shares.
They sell the same thing. Their products contain almost the ingredients except for few diversities. And they are constantly fighting to outsell each other.
But yet Pepsi didn't buy these secrets.
In a blog post I read on the subject, the Pepsi spokesman, when asked about the reason Pepsi didn't buy those Coca-Cola secrets, he said, “We did what any responsible company would do. Competition can be fierce, but it must also be fair and legal.”
I think we all can learn something from this event.
Modern businesses, traders, sellers and buyers.
A Competition doesn't mean an enemy.
That you sell the same thing as the next person doesn't mean you can go any length to endanger the business of the other person.
It's called healthy competition. It's benefitial.
Today, it's obvious Coca-Cola owes Pepsi. They might not say it, but it's there. "These people passed over buying our secrets" that means something.
That speaks of integrity.
That speaks of good sportsmanship.
I hope this serves you value
Until a customer is FULLY satisfied, a complete sale hasn't been made.
Don't be about selling, just to grasp the cash.
Rather, be about the optimal satisfaction of customers/clients after every sale/closing.
You'd always be experiencing reduction in returning customers, and clients if you fail to put their satisfaction first.
..because statistics has it that 20% of your customers will buy 80% of your products/services.
If you should know -- that 20% consists mainly of returning customers. And, its only satisfied customers who return. Dissatisfied customers look elsewhere.
