GOD IS MY HELP

Psalms 121:1-2
[1](A Song of degrees.) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
[2]My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Have you been in a condition before when you dialed all the numbers you were connected to and reached out to many but no one could meet your need ?
If yes, then this devotional is for you.

Quit depending on men, rather depend on God. He is your source and ever present help.
Before seeking help from men, ask him first.

He will tell you what to do, when to do it and how to do it. He may even be specific with names and what to say to them.

You will be so tuned too his wisdom that help will come from even what men see as common or foolish.

Confession
I put my trust in the lord. My help comes from him. He will always come through for me. Hallelujah!

I am glad to announce to you that the long awaited book "Hearing God" will be released this Saturday. It will be released at a very moderate price in the online stores and will be available for physical purchase in Lagos, Benin, Warri & Accra.

This is my first book, it may not be 100% structurally perfect but it is God's word for you this season.
The aim is that at the end of you reading this book you will hear God clearly for yourself and if you already do, his voice will be a lot more sharper and clearer.

When men give themselves to certain kinds of exercises like meditation, they can connect to the Spiritual realm. If it is not a God’s word-inspired meditation, you can end up seeing visions about things that are not godly or see things projected by the devil. Apart from such, because visions can be seen by men, and can be inspired by God or dark spirits, we have to exercise due caution in what we receive as God’s voice via Visions, dreams, and trances. A man with a strong foundation in the scriptures will never accept any dream, vision, or trance as coming from God if it is inconsistent with the scriptures.

GOD IS MOLDING YOU

"Then I went down to the potter's house, and there he was making something at the wheel. Yet the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make it" (Jer. 18:3-4).

Before clay can be put upon the wheel, it has to be properly prepared. It has to be supple enough to adapt to change, yet firm enough to not collapse under pressure. Just like clay, before God can begin remaking and changing us, there are some preparations that have to occur.

God sent Jeremiah down to the potter's house to reveal more of Himself in a very tangible way. God still uses life as a classroom, guiding us into His truths. Every event, hardship, failure, sin, and success is a part of our personalized lesson plan.

Learning the lesson will require being able to see the situation through God's eyes. His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 58:8).

Seeing life through a heavenly lens puts it in a new perspective. Spending time in His presence can open the door to God revealing to you what type of vessel He wants to make you into. Once you get a glimpse of God's vision for your life, you have to then be willing to go through His process for change.

No vessel is so flawed that it cannot be made new. Each can be reworked into a useful vessel in the hands of the Potter.

CONFESSION
I am a vessel unto honour made by an excellent potter. I may not look 100% now, but I am sure he is still working on me. Hallelujah

“JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST”

Romans 8:16–17 - The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ...

As long as you are born again, you are no longer a “slave,” but a son of the Most High God. And God does not just call you His son. He also calls you “an heir” through Christ ( Galatians 4:7). In fact, Romans 8:17 says that you are “joint heirs” with Christ.

As a joint heir with Christ Jesus, you inherit everything that He is. How precious Jesus is to the Father, is how precious you are to the Father. The way the Father loves Jesus, is the way the Father loves you!

How accepted are you by God today? Look at Jesus. That is how accepted you are! Christ is the measure of your acceptance. How favored are you by God? Look at Jesus, who is seated at the Father’s right hand. You enjoy that same favor today because whatever Christ enjoys, you enjoy!

As a joint heir with Christ Jesus, you also inherit all that He has obtained from the Father. How much Jesus has, is how much you have. How prosperous is the one who made all things, and who put the gold, silver and diamonds in the earth? So are you in this world ( 1 John 4:17)!

I use to read the Bible to find out how to be a successful and victorious Christian. But now, I read it to find out more about Jesus because I know that when I find Him, I find my every blessing in Him ( Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3).

All Monday’s in February, we have an online meeting taking place on telegram.
“Singles in ministry” is a word based and practical meeting. We learn how to grow in the work of ministry, how to stay in courses checkmating our emotions, conduct and many more.
The first session will be handled by a graced minister of the gospel, full of wisdom and the spirit - Pst Rhoda. We know at the end of the meeting, we will grow in the wisdom of God and we will be stirred up for more mighty works ahead of us

The Christian Gospel is that I am so flawed that Jesus had to die for me, yet I am so loved and valued that Jesus was glad to die for me. This leads to deep humility and deep confidence at the same time. It undermines both swaggering and sniveling. I cannot feel superior to anyone, and yet I have nothing to prove to anyone. I do not think more of myself or less of myself. Instead, I think of myself less and Jesus more. Now I can reconcile men to this same love I have received. Hallelujah!!!

Singles in ministry is a sound word base and realistic Jesus discussion with singles in ministry. Our resource persons are people who have prevailed as singles in the work of ministry. Be ready for a renewal of mind.

Pray until you can pray; pray to be helped to pray and do not give up praying because you cannot pray. For it is when you think you cannot pray that is when you are praying.
Prayer can never be in excess.

Every Saturday In February we learn on LOVE WALK …. Can the believer walk in love ? Is it possible to live without offense ? Is it possible to love selflessly? Is it possible to love him or her? This series touch all aspect of love both emotional, “the verb” and “the noun”. A lot of learning in this series. Don’t miss for any reason.

THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.
Ephesians 1:17–19

If God tells us that wisdom is the principal thing, then it behooves us to know and operate in the SPIRIT OF WISDOM But do you know what the “spirit of wisdom” is?

Look at the scripture above that the apostle Paul prayed over the church in Ephesus. The spirit of wisdom and revelation is in the knowledge of Jesus! The more you know Jesus and have a revelation of His unmerited favor in your life, the more you will have the spirit of wisdom. I challenge you to pray this prayer for wisdom on a regular basis because when you increase in the knowledge of Jesus, He will surely lead you to good success in every aspect of your life.

Note that when Paul was praying this prayer for the believers in Ephesus, they were already filled with the Holy Spirit. But Paul still prayed that God would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in their knowledge of Jesus. It is one thing to have the Holy Spirit inside you, but it is another thing to let the Holy Spirit inside you flow as the spirit of wisdom and revelation.

And as you pray to be led by the spirit of wisdom today, be confident that you will experience the Holy Spirit leading you in Jesus’ divine and unmatched wisdom. When the Holy Spirit leads you in the wisdom of Jesus, there will be no impossible situation, no insolvable problem, and no insurmountable crisis.

Confession
The wisdom of Jesus in me will help me to successfully navigate in all area of my life and cause me to prevail over all your challenges!

At first glance one might suppose that the position in which one worships is incidental to true and spiritual worship. Find out what the scripture says about this in this meeting.

NO CONDEMNATION

John 3:17
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

We all know that Jesus came to give us eternal life. But how many realize that Jesus also came to give us the gift of no condemnation? Once we receive this gift and see that God no longer condemns us, then we can truly have peace with Him while still on earth!

John 3:16—“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”—is probably the most well known verse in the Bible. If there is a memory verse competition in the church, and someone stands up and quotes John 3:16, I think half the congregation will say, “There goes my memory verse!”

However, not many people know the verse that comes after that which we can clearly see in our opening scripture.
That is why the angel Gabriel said to Mary, “…you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.” (Luke 1:31) Do you know that His name means “Savior” in Hebrew? His name could have been “Judge” or “Lawgiver”. But of all the names He could have used, He chose the name “Savior” because the purpose for His coming was to save us and not to condemn us.

Jesus loves you and will not condemn you. Walk in this understanding today and watch how your life will be totally transformed. Hallelujah!

Confession
I am not condemned, I have a perfect savior. He chose to love me and give himself for me. I proclaim this great gift I have received. Glory!

FORGIVEN

Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

When Jesus died on the cross, how many of your sins were present?
Unless you are more than 2,000 years old, all your sins were
future then! Jesus took them all upon Himself, nailed them
to the cross and declared, “It is finished!” So if you are not
forgiven of all, then you are not forgiven at all.

“You mean Jesus also died for the sin that I have just
committed?”

Yes!

“And also for the sins which I will commit?”

Yes! That is why He said, “It is finished!”

But many of us are inconsistent in our believing. One part of us says, “God has forgiven me of all my sins.” But another part says, “Yes, but I must still confess my sins to be
forgiven of them.” Are you like that?

You are forgiven not because of your work of confession. Your confession cannot wash away your sins.
You are forgiven because of the blood of Jesus shed for you. His blood alone cleanses you.

You cannot believe that you are forgiven of your past, present and future sins, and still think that there is something for you to do to make that forgiveness complete. If you do, then it becomes your work too, not Jesus’ alone.

Is there a place for confession of sins?
if you have just sinned, you can always tell God about it in humility asking for his strength to be made perfect in your weakness without
feeling condemned because you know that you already have
forgiveness and that Jesus was condemned in your place.
But you don’t confess your sins to God in order to be forgiven. You already have total and complete forgiveness because of the blood of Jesus!

Are we then approving sin?
No! The more you know you are forgiven, the more sin loose it’s grip over you. You must consistently remind yourself of the sacrifice of Jesus, his life is our life, his righteousness is our righteousness. We are forgiven!

Confession
I am perfectly forgiven, my life is a reflection of Christ. God loves me always and his strength is made perfect in my weakness. Hallelujah!!!

Your time spent in studying the person of Jesus and worshipping Him will come back to you. You will experience a quality of life beyond your wildest imagination when the Lord Jesus is at the center of it all. And that is why the believer’s priority is all about having a heart for Jesus! GOD’S WORD, MY CONFIDENCE

Hebrew 13:5&6
(New International Version)

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Many at times we as believers are quick to listen to voices around us, people’s opinion about us. We most times do so to the extent that we neglect what God’s word says concerning us.
In matters of life, it is important that God’s word is our first resort. What his word says is who we are.

Pay attention to the opening scripture, if you read it wrongly you may think that contentment there means we should be to be ok with your current level so that the love of money won’t grow in your heart. That is not why the scripture was saying there; the scripture rather meant thy God’s word is our contentment (…God has said…). You must hold on to what God’s word is saying.

In the opening scripture we can further understand that Gods word isn’t just only our contentment, it is also our confidence while been content. This means because he has said he will never leave me, I am confident to say he is my ever present help.

Hope you get it now?

I love how the vs6 ends. It ended with letting us know that contentment in God’s word for our lives and confidence in speaking what he has said via his word, gets rid of fear.
Make God’s word your standard today!!!

I am content with God’s word, I boldly affirm his word and fear has no place in me. I see mighty results. Hallelujah !!

As humans, we always talk about our love language. But have you ever taken time to think of God's love language? One of God's love language is souls being won. The Bible records in Jesus' words that there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents...... (Luke 15: 7).

     Prior to this, Joint Heirs Fellowship Int'l will be holding a series of crusades on all Fridays in December themed "Jesus Is Mighty To Save" with it's main focus on soul winning and bringing men to the knowledge of the gospel.

     Come with your heart set to meet God one on one. Be expectant as lives are touched, miracles are wrought and God presence felt mightily. The best gift you can give to a man is the gospel. See you there!!
