Everyone who bought tickets for the Amsterdam Taco Festival received an email about the refund (check your spam). It can take up to 2-3 weeks before you receive the payment. So please take that into account. Please stay safe and healthy!

We are very sad to announce that we have decided to cancel the Amsterdam Taco Festival on 20 and 21 November. The government has announced new measures where guests at an event need to stay in their seats. We meant for this festival to be fun (and a little crazy) and that also means being able to walk around and watch the food vendors while their prepare your food and just have fun. Also, due to the increase of COVID-infections we feel we need to help prevent this terrible virus to spread and hosting an event for hundreds of people doesn't feel right for us right now. Everyone who has purchased tickets will of course get a refund. Right now we have to recover from the news and the decision and make the proper arrangements. But these coming days we will give you more information on how to apply for a refund. We are very sorry and sad for this news. Please all take care and stay healthy! See you soon.

Alejandro Galindo is from Mexico. He and his girlfriend Romina have been serving tasty tacos at private event with their taqueria Taco Lindo. They will be joining the Amsterdam Taco Festival on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November 2021 with their meat and vegan pastor tacos, hot sauces and sides. We can't wait!

Nothing beats a good mole. Fans of Duck Truck know these guys for their insanely good Asian buns. But what a lot of you don't know is that they also create seriously tasty tacos. At the Amsterdam Taco Festival they will be serving blue corn tortillas with beef neck (with a sinaloa rub), parsnip chips and herbs. They also have a vegetarian yellow corn tortilla with pumpkin, poblano mole, smoked pineapple relish and sesame. So yummy!

On the menu at the Amsterdam Taco Festival: Chipotle braised beef tacos, pulled chicken tacos, pulled jackfruit tacos (vegetarian), blue corn tortilla w/ sinaba rub, beef neck, parsnip crisp and herbs, yellow corn tortilla w/ pumpkin poblano, smoked pineapple relish and sesame, taco de champiñones (vegan), taco tinga de res, fajitas de pollo, burrito w/ tender beef, rice, tatemada sauce and mashed beans, taco al pastor, vegan taco al pastor, panchitos chicken tacos with oven baked chicken, pico de gallo, mustard and mayo mix sauce and vegetarian burrito w/ pumpkin, rice and tatemada sauce, flautas de pollo and more. Getting hungry? I know we are!

If you are looking for juicy tacos Taqueria Lima Amsterdam is the place to go! We are very honored that they are joining our Amsterdam Taco Festival on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November 2021 in Het Sieraad. During the festival they will serve tasty chipotle braised beef tacos, pulled chicken tacos and pulled jackfruit tacos. We know, pretty droolworthy right. We can’t wait to try them!

The first few time slots for the early bird tickets for Saturday are SOLD OUT! There are still a few tickets left for the other time slots on Saturday and also a few early bird tickets on Sunday. So don't wait to long to buy your tickets! Don't say we didn't warn ya! :)

Caliente Food knows a thing or two about making delicious tacos. They make everything from scratch, the salsas, the tortillas and of course the toppings. Come by the Amsterdam Taco Festival on 20 and 21 November 2021 at Het Sieraad to try their taco de barbacoa, taco de chapulines and taco de calabaza pibil. It's going to be crazy tasty!

Meet Mexican Foodtruck Ay Caray! one of the vendors joining our Amsterdam Taco Festival on 20 and 21 November 2021 in Het Sieraad. The man behind this colorful food truck is Gabriel Orozco Arellano. Gabriel is born in Guaymas (Sonora, Mexico). He learned how to cook Mexican is his uncle’s restaurant La Hosteria de Santo Domingo, the oldest and most famous restaurant in Mexico City. Gabriel moved to Oaxaca where he opened the bar Freebar. In Oaxaca he fell in love with Oaxacan cuisine and his wife Stéphanie and moved to the Netherlands. Since 2007 Gabriel has been living in Amsterdam where he started working at Roses Cantina, now he runs Ay Caray! where he treats his customers to his wonderful Mexican food. Unfortunately he can't bring his foodtruck, but he will bring his tasty tacos and fajitas! We are very excited to welcome you Gabriel!

We are so happy to announce that Pedro Mouneau will be joining us at the Amsterdam Taco Festival on 20 and 21 November 2021 at Het Sieraad. He founded Los Pilones years ago with his brother and now he runs the very successful Piloncito. Deliciously juicy Mex-Mex tacos guaranteed!

Hola taco lovers, we can't wait to treat you to a whole lot of tacos 🌮🌮🌮. We've set the new date for our festival on Saturday 9 October 2021 and are pretty excited about it. More info on ticket sales will be announced soon. Don't forget to follow our event and mark yourself as interested 😊 so you will be the first to know when tickets go on sale. Dear taco lovers, we are sad to announce that due to the new government measures we have decided to postpone the Amsterdam Taco Festival to Sunday the 9th of May 2021.
We wanted to host a loco festival and since we are only allowed a maximum of 30 people inside it won’t be the fiësta we were hoping for.

But we are looking forward to better times and focusing on May 2021 to make the first taco festival in Amsterdam a taco party to remember.
