In Nederland is het wรฉl een feestdag, maar krijgen we geen vrij. In Belgiรซ en Duitsland is deze dag ontstaan door het actievoeren van de vakbonden om aandacht te vragen voor arbeidsrecht en is daarom dus een vaste vrije dag.
Toch graag vrij buiten de nationale vrije dagen? Dat kan steeds vaker, want bedrijven bieden regelmatig een flexibel beleid voor feestdagen. Medewerkers kiezen dan zelf wanneer ze vrij nemen en ruilen bijvoorbeeld het Suikerfeest voor Hemelvaartsdag.
Ga met je medewerkers in gesprek en laat zien dat je meedenkt met wanneer zij graag vrij zijn. Bovendien is die spreiding van vrije dagen juist fijn voor je mensen en business. Wat vind jij: zou Nederland ook standaard vrij moeten zijn op de Dag van de Arbeid? ๐ค
