Celebrating Kings Day with our orange coated slow cooked Veal cheek dish 🧡👑.

Not only is this the perfect starter for spring but it is also fully dressed in orange to bring the festivities to your plate. This dish is a perfect balance of flavours and textures with Veal cheek that has been cooked in herbs for 84 hours to reach maximum tenderness and flavour. The veal is paired with Coppa di Osdorp ham, orange, sweet and sour pumpkins to add freshness and mini carrots because there is no such thing as too much orange in a royal dish!🥕🍊🎃

The word “gravlax” comes from the Northern Germanic term “gräva” meaning ‘to dig’ or ‘to cure (fish)’ and “lax” which translates to ‘salmon’. It beautifully captures the process of curing salmon by burying it in a flavourful mixture of salt, sugar, and dill. Our Homemade gravlax is marinated in mustard, dill, salt and sugar and is the perfect starter to share with someone who loves fish as much as you 🎣
