Black History Month is a moment of reflection and celebration among the African Diaspora in the US and across the globe. This year, we decided to mark the occasion with an exhibition titled ‘More Beautiful Together’.
This gallery exhibition, featuring portraits by Nigerian-Dutch photographer , was organised to formally celebrate and introduce members of KinFolk, their unity, growth and the value of their contributions within this space.
KinFolk is a multinational, multicultural group of Black people representing the larger global African Diaspora, who have found their way to The Netherlands by way of Wieden+Kennedy, Amsterdam.

On our first global campaign with Amazon Music, we fully embraced the fact that once you’re a fan of something, there’s a boundless excitement to want to share that with those around you, creating new journeys of fandom for all.
We partnered with emerging and established artists to create a series of fan films using a medley of different visual languages — from 3D graphics, gifs, stop motion, and handmade art — to create a tapestry of authentic fandom.

Today marks a controversial holiday in The Netherlands called Sinterklaas. It harbors a tradition of blackface in a country known for its liberal laws and beliefs.
Our friends at have a mission: to create a safe and inclusive Sinterklaas, free of racism. They’ve created an educational toolkit with tips and inspiration, and we partnered with them to design a series of downloadable posters and visuals to add to it.

As part of our Nike’s ‘Sport is Never Done’ campaign, we created this children’s playbook encouraging both parents and children in the Middle East to play sports.
‘5 Minutes More!’ is a legacy piece made and designed to encourage the conversation between parents and kids on the importance of sport.
The book allows both parent and child to take turns reading dialogue, roleplaying as both mother and daughter. It also offers 2 language versions in 1 book - if read from left to right it is in English, and if turned to its back to read right to left, it is in Arabic.
‘5 Minutes More!’ is only available in the Middle East.

Back in 2017 when we were celebrating the 25th anniversary of W+K Amsterdam we made a video of everyone lip synching opera. It felt like a nice way to bring everyone together in a single creative expression, and hey, who'd expect Rossini as the soundtrack for W+K?
We had the idea to also reach out to Dan & David on the off-chance that they'd be up for recording themselves too. Not only were they up for it, but they crushed the performance.
We have it playing in our reception on loop today, to remind us of the joy both these men brought into our lives.
