Had a great day! Met a lot of lovely colleagues from in Amsterdam who have become friends through the years… and to end the day that started so good I went to a very sunny and colourful Keukenhof!

Good morning! For which cruise company do you think I will be working today? The weather still is a little foggy l, but it should be another warm and sunny day in Amsterdam!

Tulip festival in Amsterdam!

Almost ready to rumble! Checking the last changes, road works, itineraries, routes, tramlines etc and then it will finally happen again! Tomorrow my first (walking and tram) tour of the season for a German river cruise, Monday a Viking walking tour and on Tuesday a good old bus- and canal cruise tour! Super excited 🤗

Have to wait a little bit longer for the tulips to bloom in my garden, but I can already enjoy them indoors. My daughter picked them in the supermarket as ‘mommy loves tulips a lot’. 🥰

A rainy but beautiful day for a walk in Volendam! We ended for a meeting about upcoming cruise season… will it really happen? A normal guiding season?! Can’t wait for it!

Beeckestijn in Velsen-Zuid, a historical summer house of rich families from Amsterdam. It’s dating back to the 16th century’s and is surrounded with beautiful gardens! We visited the gardens today >swipe to see the spring flowers blooming!

The windmills of the Zaans Schans seen through the window of the weavers house! A tiny museum which actually houses a beautiful story!

A pretty hidden gem right on the biggest square in Amsterdam! When not in use by the Royal family it’s open as a museum. Check the website first and enjoy this special view on Damsquare.

What a lovely normal day in Amsterdam!

The last three storms have made some very dirty windows… where to start this project 😅 ➡️ (scroll).
I’m so not jealous on this brave guy!

Best present ever! It will take a while before Lisa can walk on these wooden shoes, but for sure she will! Her sister already loves them, but she has her own pink ones ;).

Almost! They are almost there! Can’t wait for the tulips to bloom, but crocuses are my favourites in wintertime… bit early though I would say 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Lucky me! A present from two of my colleagues for the birth of our daughter Lisa. Best choice 😍.

King Willem Alexander has said that he won’t use the golden carriage for the upcoming years as some of the paintings on the carriage are very controversial. As the Amsterdam Museum is closed now (because of the lockdown) you can see the carriage for free on the inner square until the 28th of February!

😍 Sometimes I’m such a lucky person! Although it was another crazy year for I received this box full with spring flowering bulbs! My garden will be once again a colourful delight for the neighbourhood next year!
