Project Hopping with a twist 👀🤯

AnArchi is well known for their big activity Project Hopping, but for this Lustrum we gave it a twist, Project Dropping! 🩷🖤🤍

Your group will be dropped somewhere in the Netherlands. We will provide you with assignments and directions, which will lead you to the final destination 🏁. On the way you have to make sure to visit the architectural or urban highlights 🏙️🛣️, which are hidden in the assignments and directions we provide you with.

• You can sign up with a group of max. 4 people! When you do, we expect you to participate :)

My name is Masha, and I will be taking on the position of the Commissioner of Archiprint in this year 🖤🤍🖤

My passion lies in art in any form or shape - I have been an artist and illustrator for a long time, and my decision to pursue architecture comes from a desire to empathise with emotions and feelings, and to meet the needs of society during these uncertain times. I’m captivated by the opportunity to bring beauty into people’s lives - to create a sense that the urban environment can resonate in harmony with individuals.

In the 15th board of AnArchi, I’m thrilled to take the reins of publishing the Archiprint magazine. With ambitious goals for this year, I’m eager to gather a team of enthusiastic writers and curious minds, with whom we can reflect on the reality of the physical and cognitive worlds we inhabit - together, we’ll inspire each other and build a story of tomorrow. Don’t hesitate to pass by the AnArchi desk on the 2nd floor to know more about the Archiprint committee or just have a lovely chat over coffee. And of course, you can always approach me whenever you see me at uni :)

Hey! I am Beril and this year I will be the Commissioner of Promotion and Education for AnArchi!

I am currently in the second years of my master’s degree, specializing at architecture. I am from Türkiye, and I have completed my bachelor’s degree there. This is going to be my second year in TU/e and in the Netherlands. Apart from the education I like to run, enjoy music and spend time with my friends!🪩

As the Commissioner of Promotion and Education I aim to communicate clearly more about AnArchi, what it entails and present us the best way possible. Similarly, I am to focus on the quality of the education of the master’s courses in the AUDE track. I am excited to for the upcoming academic year and to meet with you all!🤍

My name is Ilonka, I am 22 years old and I’m in my final year of the bachelor.
I have always been fascinated by buildings and cities and I feel very passionate about the built environment. I have however, felt a bit lost in what track I wanted to follow. Joining AnArchi’s activities and excursions has helped me discover my love for urbanism.

Hello! I’m Finn Snijders, and I’ll be the treasurer and commissioner of professional relations on the 15th board.

I’m 20 years old and currently in my fourth year of my bachelor’s degree. I have a strong interest in both architecture and urbanism, so I’m still deciding which master’s program I’ll start in February. Outside of my board duties and studies, I enjoy staying active and having fun with friends. I like to row at Thêta, and I also enjoy cycling and running.

During my board year, I’ll primarily be working behind the scenes to manage AnArchi’s finances. However, I’ll also have a more visible role by organizing activities in collaboration with our partners.

Hello, hello, my name is Kalina and in the upcoming academic year I will fulfil the functions of Anarchi’s Secretary and Vice-Chairman.🤭

I am 21 for a few more weeks😉 and I am starting my fourth year as a Bachelor student. I am mesmerised by the whole built environment, but I have an undeniable passion for designing and being creative. I come from Bulgaria but don’t be surprised if I start speaking Dutch to you after a few drinks! I love spending time with my friends, being in nature and photography, dancing and an occasional bitterbal is always welcome!🤩

Hey! I am Anna, 20 years old, and soon to be fourth year bachelor’s student. During this academic year, I will be the Chairman and Commissioner of Lustrum within AnArchi’s 15th board.

My passion for architecture and urbanism stem from a lifelong interest in art, design and making. Next to creativity, I enjoy all the wonderful things student life has to offer. My days are filled with learning, meeting people and creating memories for a lifetime.

The board year at this association gives me a unique opportunity to combine my largest passions and I’m immensely looking forward to doing so. Architecture Urbanism Awards Exhibition! During this week, passersby could admire the submissions in Trappenzaal and vote for the winners of their favorite projects.

June 6th - Workshops by Jan Schevers
This day we had two workshops by Jan Schevers, about rendering and portfolios, providing a unique opportunity for students to elevate their professional skills.

June 12th - AUA TostArchi
During the lunch break, we held the AUA TostArchi. Here we announced and awarded the winners of the AUA Awards, while enjoying some free tosti’s!

June 21st - Active Members BBQ
This evening was a nice way too end the year and celebrate all members who actively participated in our last year’s succes! Hopefully we see some of you here next year. Thank you all for being here ;)

🚨 FIRST MONDAY OF THE MONTH 12.00 🚨

This is a national service to announce the monthly recap of AnArchi activities.
This is the ninth edition: May ‘24, another full month for us!

May 10-12 - Drawing Abroad
We went on an artistic journey to Oostende, capturing the horizon and local scenes through our drawings. It was a very nice weekend spent with fellow students and friends. Our very own Helene, and a teacher from KU Leuven, Robin, provided us with valuable instructions and ideas.

May 15 - Disability Tour
During this tour we went around campus and focused on understanding how design impacts the movement of disabled individuals.

May 16 - Reynaers Project Visit
We visited the construction site of the Toren Niko Lighthouse in Eindhoven together with our main sponsor, Reynaers Aluminium. The visit included a tour of the tower and detailed explanations about the project.

May 21 - Zeist Excursion
Our excursion to Zeist was a visit to a construction site of a design by Jan Schevers. There was also a workshop on detail drawing and designing, conducted by the master himself.

May 22 - Movie Night
In collaboration with NATLAB in Eindhoven, we watched “Plan in Paradise” by Kati Juruus. The screening was followed by a thought-provoking discussion with Maarten Willems.

May 24-25 – Batavierenrace
On the 24th and 25th of May, we participated in de Batavierenrace together with CHEOPS, KOers, and SERVICE. A weekend full of sportivity and fun!

May 27 - Summer Pubquiz
Teams competed in our Summer Pubquiz, testing their knowledge. It was an enjoyable and fun evening, with the winning team taking home the prize.

May 28 - Lustrum Reveal
The theme and activities for our upcoming lustrum were unveiled through an exciting treasure hunt.

May 30 - Buro Lubbers Project Visit
We went on a bike tour starting from Vertigo, guided by Buro Lubbers. They explained their innovative design of a drainage system integrated into the architectural and urban landscape, addressing future water management challenges.
