Tomorrow the wonderful annual flower market starts again! The moment you arrive in Groningen, you will smell the scent of spring.

It is the largest flower and plant market in the Northern Netherlands. From fresh-cut flowers and bulbs to houseplants and garden plants, nearly everything can be found. Scattered throughout the city, you will find stalls and activities.

Come in between for a little break and enjoy a cup of coffee and a homemade apple pie inside, or on our terrace in the lovely spring sunshine.

Morgen beginnt wieder der wunderschöne jährliche Blumenmarkt! Sobald Sie in Groningen ankommen, werden Sie den Duft des Frühlings riechen.

Es ist der größte Blumen- und Pflanzenmarkt in den nördlichen Niederlanden. Von frischen Schnittblumen und Blumenzwiebeln bis hin zu Zimmer- und Gartenpflanzen ist hier fast alles zu finden. Über die ganze Stadt verstreut finden Sie Stände und Aktivitäten.

REVIEW- Superb location and delicious breakfast

Breakfast was delicious! Eggs Benedict with salmon were a highlight, accompanied with home made bread, croissants and delicious coffee. The room was very clean, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. And perfect service! Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Spring has started! The perfect time to visit Groningen and wander around the city to see all the lovely flowers blossom.

The beautiful park Noorderplantsoen is only an 8-minute walk away from Hotel Corps de Garde.

Great atmospheric hotel!

Super friendly staff, nothing was too much. The breakfast was great and the location of the hotel is also perfect. Near the center. Nice room with a good bed. All reasons to come back again!
