Do you often feel tired, irritated, or blurry-eyed after spending hours in front of a screen? You may be suffering from digital eye strain, a common condition that affects millions of people who use computers, phones, tablets, and other devices. Digital eye strain can cause headaches, neck and shoulder pain, and even vision problems.
But don't worry, there are some simple steps you can take to prevent and relieve digital eye strain. One of them is to take frequent breaks and look away from your screen. This helps your eyes relax and refocus, and reduces the risk of eye fatigue and discomfort.
A good rule to follow is the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. 20 feet = about 6 meters. You can also blink more often, use artificial tears, adjust your screen brightness and contrast, and wear glasses or contact lenses if needed.
Taking care of your eyes is important for your health and well-being. So, next time you're working or browsing on your screen, remember to take a break and look away. Your eyes will thank you!

My name is Hélène. I worked as an engineer for 7 years. I loved my job, but it also came with a price: back pain. For years, I suffered from chronic back pain that affected every aspect of my life. I tried everything, but nothing helped. I felt hopeless and frustrated.
One day, I overcame my back pain by addressing the root cause through personal development. I was skeptical at first, but I decided to give it a try. I learned why I had back pain in the first place. It was because of my poor posture, stress, and lack of movement. I realized that I was doing a lot of things wrong, and that I needed to change my habits.
Another day, I tried yoga. I was skeptical at first. But the yoga practice gave me simple and yet effective tools to prevent back pain from coming back, such as breathing, stretching, strengthening, relaxing. I was amazed by how better my back felt quickly.
I noticed a huge difference in my back pain. It was gone. I couldn't believe it. I felt like a new person. I could sleep better, I could exercise, I could enjoy my hobbies. I was happier and more productive.
I decided to change my path from engineering to well-being coaching and yoga teaching. I have trained with experts in anatomy, fascia, physiotherapy, and yoga therapy. These are fields that are essential for understanding and improving the health and well-being of the back. I have learned from their knowledge and experience, and applied it to my own practice and teaching. I have gained valuable insights and skills that have helped me and my clients to heal, treat, and relax their backs.
