Lieve (toekomstige) LUSV’ers!
Het nieuwe seizoen gaat bijna van start en ook dit jaar zijn we hard bezig met het promoten van onze club voor nieuwe LUSV’ers!
Ook dit jaar zijn er trainingsweekenden om iedereen wat beter te leren kennen 💪🏼🏀
Daarbij hoort ook een etentje dus voor de dames en heren is er op 25 augustus de gelegenheid om met pizza en biertjes samen te proosten op een leuk jaar!

Dear members,
The basketball season of 2017-2018 is about to start and the selections are almost here! Besides the normal selection weekend, there are also a few moments of selection training.
For the ladies and the gentlemen the coaches will give selection trainings according to this schedule:
Monday 21/8 21:30 tot 23:00
Tuesday 22/8 21:30 tot 23:00
Thursday 24/8 18:30 tot 20:00
Thursday 24/8 20:00 tot 21:30
For the gentlemen:
The selection weekend of the ladies and gentlemen coincides this year. The time schedule is as follows:
Friday 25/08 19:00-23:00 Gentlemen
Saturday 26/08 10:00-14:00 Gentlemen 14:00-18:00 Ladies
Sunday 27/08 10:00-14:00 Ladies
Take your chance to show your effort. Your presence will be appreciated. If you cant make it to the selection trainings or the weekend, please let me know. I will let the coaches know.
After the selection weekend the coaches will let you know in which team you are and after this normal trainings will start.

Dit jaar bestaat L.U.S.V. Basketball 55 jaar. Dit 11e lustrum gaan we samen vieren, tijdens dit seizoen zullen er dan ook speciale lustrumactiviteiten worden georganiseerd. Wij willen ook álle alumni van L.U.S.V. Basketball van harte uitnodigen op onze activiteiten, ook zullen wij als bestuur vaak aanwezig zijn en en hopen veel alumni te zien! Hou onze facebookpagina en jouw mail in de gaten.

This year L.U.S.V. Basketball will celebrate his 11th lustrum. During upcoming season special lustrum activities will be organized. We want to invite all alumni of L.U.S.V. to these events, and celebrate this milestone together. We hope to see a lot of alumni! Keep an eye on our page and your e-mail.

Het nieuwe seizoen komt eraan en we zijn op zoek naar enthousiastelingen die willen komen basketballen! Zoek je een nieuwe sport of heb je basketbal ervaring en zoek je een nieuwe club, dan is LUSV basketball wat voor jou! Het eerste dames (2de divisie) en heren team speelt afdeling 1e klasse (rayon), maar we hebben ook plaats voor beginners en alles daar tussenin. Daarnaast hebben we het hele jaar door gezellige feestjes, borrels en internationale toernooien!

Vorige week donderdag 5 januari werd het nieuwe jaar in stijl ingeluid met het Oliebollentoernooi en afgesloten met een gezellige borrel! Met dank aan het bestuur van 2016-2017 voor de heerlijke oliebollen!
On the 5th of January the New Year was celebrated with our annual 'Oliebollen' tournament and some drinks afterwards. With special thanks to the board of 2016-2017 for the delicious 'oliebollen'!

12 november was het Foute Fitness Feestje van LUSV Basketball! Hierbij nog een aantal leuke foto's om terug te blikken op een gezellige avond.
Our Dirty Fitness Party was on the 12th of November! Enclosed some pictures to look back on a great evening.
De thema bekendmaking voor ons jaarlijkse Internationale Toernooi! Dit jaar zal het plaatsvinden van 24 t/m 26 februari 2017. Informatie over de registraties zal zo snel mogelijk nog volgen.
Our theme announcement for our annual International Tournament! This year our Tournament will be held from the 24th up to and including the 26th of February 2017. There will be more information about the registrations as soon as possible.

De eerste maandactiviteit heeft alweer plaatsgevonden! Op 15 oktober was het Pooltoernooi in Het Poolcafe op het Levendaal. Onder het genot van een drankje kon iedereen hier zijn poolkunsten vertonen. De winnaars van de avond waren Moos en Giorgos! Hierbij nog wat foto's om na te genieten van een leuke en geslaagde avond, met dank aan de Activiteitencommissie.
De volgende activiteit staat ook alweer op het programma: het Foute Fitness feest op 12 november. Tot dan allemaal!
We already had our first monthly activity! On the 15th of October was our Pool tournament at Poolcafe Levendaal. While enjoying some drinks, everybody could show their skills. The winners of the evening were Moos and Giorgos! Enclosed some pictures to enjoy a successful evening, thanks to our Activity committee.
Our next activity will be on the 12th of November: the theme party Dirty Fitness. See you then!

Onze jaarlijkse Internationale Toernooi staat alweer gepland! Het zal plaatsvinden van 24 tot en met 26 Februari. Meer informatie over de inschrijvingen en het thema zal binnenkort worden bekendgemaakt.

The date of our annual International Tournament has been set! The Tournament will be in the last weekend of February, the 24th of February up to and including the 26th of February. Soon there'll be more information about our theme and the registrations.
