Art always makes me happy.

PROJECT* Wood is one of our favourite materials because each wood type has its own unique feel to it and it brings nature inside. Here we incorporated it in a bathroom in combination with custom natural stone travertin basins. The lady of the house desired enough storage but the open shelves and floating cabinet still keep it airy and light. Combine it with some soft towels in light colours and accessories and you are good to bath, shower and pamper.

PROJECT* We love working with artisans who can, for example make a solid wood cabinet like this one. We design, draw and select the materials. Then the passionate craftsman takes over and creates beauty. Team work really does make the dream work.

Voor het derde jaar op rij presenteren wij met gepaste trots onze Vrouwenspecial. Alle topprojecten die je in de bomvolle uitgave tegenkomt, zijn ontworpen door vrouwelijke designers en (interieur) architecten. En dat levert kleurrijke, elegante, oogstrelende en serene droomplaatjes op. Ook lees je een inspirerend interview met zen, die samen met en de cover siert.

PROJECT* A golden oldie - one of our office projects for a globally operating shipyards company.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​For the reception area of the CEO we combined leather wall panelling with classic black wall fixtures. 'The devil is in the details' is one of our favourite sayings at Lagrand Interior Design.

A kitchen with wooden cabinets and an island topped off with a stone counter makes it look both modern and functional.

Combined with art, coloured glass accessories and a collector’s item iconic chair makes it all so much more personal.

We love it when clients have such specific items to incorporate in their new home and we build our design ideas around them.

PROJECT* Young girls grow up! That’s why we made this a somewhat adolescent room that can grow together with the young lady studying, chatting and relaxing here. Gorgeous headboard with rattan details, sequin throw pillows and a dreamy wallcovering.

Sweet dreams

PROJECT* Continuing on the last post where we showed you this inspiring wall covering.. here you can see how we applied it to a client's bedroom. Combining it with Dedar Milano fabric for the curtains and small seating pouf. In a later stage we added a custom rug underneath the bed in burgundy, mustard and the same shade of pink as on the wall. Time to say goodnight!

INSPIRATION* I have said it before and I will say it again.. us designers can get all happy and gooey just from seeing or preferably also touching a wonderful material such as this beautiful jacquard woven velvet wall textile. Can you imagine this on the wall behind your bed? It will be like your bedroom is all dressed up for you to enjoy!

PROJECT* To continue the previous post.. this little nook in the bedroom is created especially so the clients can make their coffee & tea in the morning! And with this wintery weather.. that is what we want: more lazy mornings in bed! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Bespoke cabinets with handmade irregularly woven sisal wallcovering on the doors and delicate horn handles.

PROJECT* In this bedroom we made sure that all the little things the clients need are right beside them. In this curved custom headboard we made shelves that follow the curves. And used chargeable reading lights that are magnetically attached to the leather band hanging from the side of the bed. The fabric is a wonderfully stitched velvet that feels all soft and smooth. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Some patterned throw pillows to finish it off. Sleep tight!

INSPIRATION* For us, inspiration can come from anything, even from within us. A feeling, an emotion that arises when touching something nice and soft. Like this satin silk blouse. The sense, the softness and the shine can all be translated into shapes, colours and designs. We feel lucky every day to be able to use our imagination like this.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Have a great weekend all!

INSPIRATION* Elwood residence powder room​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We just love the burgundy marble and pink powdery walls!

The Elwood Residence is a 1930 beachfront Spanish mission home. With newly defined thresholds, bronze display cabinets, walls with half-radius corners, this respectful renovation allows this beauty to bathe in glory for another century.

INSPIRATION* Antelope Canyon, Arizona​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We can always find inspiration with Mother Nature. Soft line curves in contrast to the hard material of the cave rock. Colours varying from grey to mauve and almost burgundy. A real ton-sur-ton feast for our eyes.

PROJECT* In this photo, you see a guest room featuring a stunning custom dressing cabinet made of walnut wood. The cabinet's doors are adorned with crinkled linen wall covering, adding a touch of elegance to the overall design. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The roman blinds in the room are crafted from a special fabric with fil coupé, creating an intricate pattern. Additionally, a beautiful carpet with varying pile heights graces the floor, adding both comfort and visual interest to the space.

The combination of these elements creates a sophisticated and inviting ambiance in the guest room. Sleep tight!

PROJECT* PROJECT* Step into a world of refined elegance and sophistication, where every detail has been carefully crafted to create a cozy and inviting space.

At the heart of this design is a luxurious leather chair that invites you to sit back and relax. On the floor, a custom carpet that adds texture and color to the room, bringing everything together. The pattern and colors of the carpet were selected to match the overall design. The coffee table is decorated with exquisite brass details, adding a touch of luxury to the space.
