🌾 Van platteland tot juweel van de stad 🏛️

Wist je dat het Noordeinde in de middeleeuwen bekend stond als een route die naar het noorden van Den Haag leidde? Het gebied was toen nog vooral omringd door landbouwgrond en landgoederen. 🚜

Later, vooral in de Gouden Eeuw, begonnen kooplieden en aristocraten hier herenhuizen te bouwen, waardoor het gebied een meer stedelijke uitstraling kreeg. Uiteindelijk groeide het Noordeinde uit tot een winkelstraat die nog steeds bekendstaat om de luxe en unieke winkelervaring 👛

Er is door de tijd heen best wat over ons geschreven in de Haagse media.

Ook zin in een Affogato om je Italië gevoel nog even vast te houden? Kom langs vandaag!
Het woord ‘affogare’ betekent letterlijk verdrinken in het Italiaans en daar komt de naam affogato vandaan. Affogato is namelijk niets meer dan een bolletje ijs toegevoegd aan een espresso. Very Italiano!

Affogato is afkomstig uit Italië. Voor het ontstaan ervan gaan we terug naar het jaar 1950. Rond deze tijd kwamen er meer en meer bars en ijssalons in Italië en toentertijd is de affogato ontstaan.

Vorige week hadden we de eer om onze cannoli te serveren op een prachtige bruiloft. Het was een mooie dag waar we met veel genoegen aan hebben bijgedragen. Wij kwamen op locatie met de cannoli-kar om het bruidspaar en de gasten te mogen verwennen met vers gemaakte cannoli.

Last week we had the honor of serving our cannoli at a beautiful wedding. It was a beautiful day to which we contributed much enough. We came on location with the cannoli cart to spoil the bridal couple and guests with freshly made cannoli.
