Thank you to the beautiful people with the most amazing smiles I was lucky to meet on my journey in wonderful Indonesia❤️ Such hospitality, kindness, spirituality and great humour have recharged my batteries! I can't stop smiling! It must be contagious😂 and so true: smile at the world and it will smile back at you😄

For me, a flying start to 2023 means discovering new people, situations and places, letting myself be wonderfully surprised and, above all, moving forward. That works just fine on this tough bike😊 How are you looking forward to this new year?

A personal message from Dr Richard Bandler to his Students

Nothing is what it seems. That is why it never hurts to keep asking, studying and reading books and doing your own research.

This picture was actually taken three days ago on the island of Banda Besar, which was exploited for centuries by the Dutch for its valuable and . My view is of the bay and the still active volcano Gunung Api (Fire mountain). You can still see the trail of lavastones from its last eruption in 1988.

I learn here what I did not learn or learned differently during history class at school. About the Bandanese, their culture, their perspectives, the spices.

Oh wait, is that a plume of smoke over the volcano? No, fortunately it is not 🌤️😅

Moral: be curious, open your eyes, always keep an open mind and keep wondering about even small things. Don't believe everything you think, see or know. And ask yourself where your beliefs come from and whether they (still) hold or need an update. Go discover!

Soon will be returning once again to my roots. This time I'm looking for the plantations where about four centuries ago the fruits here pictured were "discovered" and became worth gold. With all its consequences. Those consequences had an impact on my ancestors and helped define who I am and what I stand for. I hope to discover or recognize even more of myself. I will post updates, so maybe this will become a sort of travel guide? We'll see🙏🏽
