šWe have summarized the most important conclusions of this meeting for you š
š Here is ECCOS summarized party program including the most important factors that ECCO wants to focus on in 2023/24! š
šš³ Last but not least, our #1 for ECCO! He is eager and ready to improve students university life! Here is a bit about and his vision:
āHi everyone! My name is Mick, and I am running as #1 for student party ECCO in this election. Iām a 21-year-old Dutch student and currently in my final year of IBA.
As a fellow student at Tilburg, I understand the struggles that we all face on a day-to-day basis. And one of those struggles is feeling like our concerns and ideas aren't being heard by the university. That's why I want to be the person who brings those concerns and ideas to the forefront.
Most importantly, Iām going to focus on improving communication between students and the university. Overall, I aim to work towards a better and more connected university, one where all concerns are heard. Let's make our university a place where your voice matters.
Vote ECCO #1ā
šš³ Today we will introduce our #2 for ECCO! Sheās very determined and excited to bring change for TiSEM students! Hereās a bit about and her vision:
āHi everyone!
My name is Nikita and I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in Tilburg, but I am half Dutch and half Guyanese. Currently, Iām in my second year of the E&BI program and besides that, Iām also an active member of Asset | Strategy and Logistics. I like to meet new people and therefore can often be found at various social activities.
During my board year, I would like to improve the quality of education and focus more on student welfare and integration. Being a student, I also experience difficulties from time to time. I know how annoying that can be and sometimes even stressful. I want to make sure that students have a voice and that they are heard.
I am committed to ensuring that you as a student can make the most of your student life and that you look back on it with a positive outlook.
Vote #2 Nikita Kokke on April 11, 12, and 13! šš¤ā
šš³ New day, new candidate! We proudly present you our #3 for ECCO! Here is a little bit about .frances and her vision for ECCO and students at TiSEM:
āMy name is Megan Gomes and I am proud to be part of ECCOās list of candidates for the Ā 2023-2024 Faculty Council! Together with my board members, I aim to improve studentsā Ā experience at Tilburg University, whilst taking into account their needs, concerns and ideas. Iām a second year IBA year student from South Africa. Currently I am part of AIESEC as the offline marketing manager at Tilburg uni. Iām also part of 180 Degrees Consulting as a part-time consultant.
Since I am an international student myself, who has lived Ā in different countries, I know how it feels like to get out of your comfort zone and know how Ā challenging this might be for new students who have left their home for the first time. Being exposed to an international environment Ā has taught me the importance of communication and transmission of valuable information. Ā
Next year I want to focus on making information more accessible in order to offer all TiSEM Ā students the help and resources they might need. This can be achieved by establishing Ā awareness and ensuring that the communicated information is of importance. In addition to that I Ā strive to integrate students in a new environment, where both dutch and international students Ā benefit from each otherās experiences and cultures. This entails not only knowledge about several Ā cultures, but a skill set which can be used in the international business world.
In order to represent TiSEM studentsā interests such as student empowerment, quality of Ā education, student welfare and integrity, you can vote for one of my board members or me ( #5) on Ā the 11, 12 and 13 of April 2023. If you are curious about ECCO, its board and accomplishments, Ā donāt hesitate to visit our website https://studentpartyecco.nl.ā

šš³ We are proudly presenting our #4 for the next ECCO Board! Here is a little bit about and his vision for the future:
āMy name is Lucas Poelen and I am proud to be part of ECCOās list of candidates for the 2022-2023 Faculty Council. Together with my colleagues, I want to represent TiSEM students' interests and provide them with the assistance they deserve as to improve their student life.
As of now I am in my third year of International Business Administration, which has unveiled my interest in Management and HR to me. During my earlier education, I have always been active in side activities and charity events and found it rewarding to improve my community. Having been part of the TiSEM community for three years and being an active member in different student associations like TSEA Link and ESN Tilburg, I have been in contact with many different kinds of people and heard all of their stories. This inspired me to want to improve the overall environment we all work so hard in here at TiSEM.
What I am going to strive to achieve throughout our next academic year is to improve the blended learning environment. I feel during the COVID years we touched upon what blended learning could mean to students, but since 2022 I believe TiSEM has regressed in this department. I believe blended learning can mean a lot for our students that struggle with problems like housing, anxiety, physical health or overall preference. A second point of interest that I will be looking at is the international environment, to motivate Dutch and international students to learn from each other and create strong bonds and great memories.
You can vote for one of my board members or me ( #4) to serve TiSEM students' interests such as student empowerment, quality of education, student welfare, and integrity on April 11, 12 and 13 2023!
