Handful of Glitz

Wonderful Cicada wings earrings made with our gorgeous Spectrolite foil. So happy with the sheen and how it turned out. We’ve seen many rendition of wings earrings but somehow the gloss of resin and all the glitter made them look fake. In comparison, with our technique we achieved the texture and shimmer of the wing while maintaining the ethereal lightness and frailness of the wing.

You get 10 dichroic film sheets in one of the following options:
- A6 size each: 10,5 x 14,8 cm or 4.1 x 5.8 inches (a quarter of a regular page)
- A5 size each: 14,8 x 21 cm or 5.8 x 8.3 inches (half of a regular page)
- A4 size each: 21 x 29,7 cm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches (full regular page)

In A6 (quarter of a regular xerox page) this is a great STARTER PACK if you are unsure what variant you need for your crafting project. In A5 size (half a regular page), these films are a nice crafting supply. In A4 (regular printer paper size), this is a super saver pack of all your favourites.

New experiment today: printing on dichroic foil ✨Results are promising :)

We used Aura Quartz because it’s one of the thickest and a laser printer.

When printing we chose “photo film”.

Please note that:

1. because this is not paper, the pigment will not fuse and it is easy to smudge;

2. for the reason stated above, use the draft or medium quality setting. No point having a lot of pigment since it makes handling difficult;

3. to preserve the effect it needs to be laminated.

We have tried this awesome holographic paper with several embossing folders and we are stocked 😍
