It's a day to commemorate the remarkable achievement of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, as well as celebrate the spirit of mountaineering and exploration. May this day inspire you to reach new heights, both metaphorically and literally.

As the darkness of the night slowly surrenders to the touch of dawn, a mesmerizing spectacle unfolds before my eyes. The horizon, once shrouded in obscurity, now becomes a canvas for nature's masterpiece. Gentle hues of rose and gold begin to dance across the sky, painting streaks of radiant light that delicately pierce through the remaining shadows.

I was on the way to Chola Pass (5420m) from Dzongla.

I don't know the name of the tree, but it has interesting trunk.

Gokyo Peak [Gokyo Ri] is a 5,360 m. It is located on the west side of the Ngozumpa glacier, which is the largest glacier in Nepal and is reputed to be the largest in the whole Himalayas. Gokyo (4,750 m above sea level), at the base of Gokyo Ri, is a small hamlet of a few stone houses and one of the highest settlements in the world. From the summit of Gokyo Ri, it is possible to see four 8,000-metre peaks: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu, including the other many peaks.

Akash Bhairav (Nepali: आकाश भैरव) or Aaju (Newar: आजु) is one of the different forms of Bhairava.

The temple of Akash Bhairav is supposed to have been a palace of the first king of Nepal, Kiranti King Yalambar, around 3100–3500 years back. The surrounding of Akash Bhairav is known as Yen to symbolize Ne of Nepal. Ne means Midland in the Kiranti language.
