Dr. Lohani was responsible for the ADB’s Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department (Office of the Chief Economist), Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department, and Office of Information Systems and Technology. Prior to the above position, Dr. Lohani was Vice-President (Finance and Administration) of ADB. Dr. Lohani served as Chair of Investment Committee of the Pension Fund; Chair of Asset Liability Management Committee; and Chair of Crisis Management Committee.

🌍 Holding a Doctoral degree in Environmental Engineering, Dr. Lohani has been honored with multiple Honorary Doctoral Degrees for his outstanding contributions. He's also completed renowned management programs from top universities like the University of Chicago, Cornell, and Yale.

AIT Extension is calling for the application for the International Training Program on "Pump Technology for Water Supply" during 15 - 22 November 2023.

This program has a limited number of scholarships funded by the EBARA Hatakeyama Memorial Fund (EHMF). The successful applicants will be selected by the donor, EBARA Corporation Japan.

The application deadline is on 8 October 2023 at 4:00 pm. (Japan time)

AIT Alumni Seminar on the occasion of Nepali New Year 2080!

AIT Alumni Association (Nepal Chapter) organized an experience sharing seminar on: Aquaculture and Fisheries - Simple ideas and policies that could benefit Nepal presented by Dr Ram C. Bhujel, a Distinguished Alumnus of AIT who is living in Thailand for about 30 years. He completed his MSc and PhD from AIT and did his post-docs at the University of Stirling, Scotland, UK, and University of Montpellier, France. He serves as founding director of Aqua-Centre established within AIT in 2014.
