Buddhist tour of Nepal 9 Days
DAY 01: ARRIVE TO KATHMANDU, NEPAL
You will be received at Kathmandu airport by our representative holding your name plate. After formal meeting, you will drive to the Hotel. There is an option of familiarization walk to the old Kathmandu in the suburb of tourist center of Thamel. The old Kathmandu has some of the important Bajarayana Buddhist Stupas and monasteries.

DAY 02: BUDDHIST SITES OF KATHMANDU
Come down to the Hotel restaurant for breakfast. Your tour guide will be introduced. He will guide you through the Buddhist sites of Kathmandu. We will visit two stupas of Swyambhunath and Boudhanath, Naropa and Tilopa caves of Pashupatinath and the oldest existing Buddhist city of Patan.

DAY 3 - 4: LUMBINI BUDDHIST CIRCUIT TOUR
Lumbini and its surroundings are dotted with archeological sites related with Lord Buddha. There are over 60 excavation sites among which some of them are popular Buddhist pilgrimage sites. The legendary Lumbini garden is now developed into a sanctuary that spread over the 6 sq km area. The Mayadevi temple houses the marker stone and foundation of ancient temple resembling the exact birthplace of Lord Buddha. Monastic zone is developed into World Buddhist center with monasteries constructed by Buddhist communities from different countries.
Ruins of Tilaurakot palace has been discovered 27 km west of Lumbini.
Tilaurakot is ancient capital of Sakya kingdom (Kapilavastu) where Siddhartha lived his early 29 years as a prince. Along with other structures, one can still observe the remains of the eastern gate through which Prince Siddhartha took great renunciation.
Ramgram Stupa is the only Stupa which still retains Buddha relic in its intact form. When Buddha attained 'Mahaparinirvana', his body was cremated. The mortal relic was divided among the 8 claimants. While other Stupas were later excavated by Emperor Ashoka or distorted in conflict, the relic remained intact until the date in the Ramagram Stupa.
Kudan (Nigrodharma) has the stupa remains, where King Suddhodhana (father of Buddha) met Lord Buddha after he attained enlightenment.
Gotihawa was ancient Khemavati the birth place of Krakucchanda Buddha.
Niglihawa is the birthplace of Kanakmuni Buddha. Emperor Ashoka visited both places and erected pillars with inscriptions. The pillars are broken in both places. Sagarhawa is the place where Sakyas were massacred by King Virudhaka out of vengeance. About 70,000 Sakyas were killed in the massacre. The sakyas didn't strike back as they believed in nonviolence.

DAY 05: DRIVE OR FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU

DAY 06: BHAKTAPUR TOUR, MILAREPA CAVE & NAMOBUDDHA
After breakfast, we will drive to Bhaktapur, which is 17 km (45 mints)from Kathmandu. Bhaktapur is known as 'The Living Museum' as it still retains its medieval fragrance. Just the hill above Bhaktapur lies the cave where Milarepa meditated. It is known as Bagishwari Saraswati Sthan (Manjushree cave). Later drive to Namobuddha. The Namobuddha Stupa is believed to be erected over the relic of Bodhisattva who sacrificed himself to feed starving mother tigress and her cubs. Namobuddha at 1,700 m is also provides panoramic view of the Himalayas. Drive back and spend a night in Dhulikhel.

DAY 07: VISIT PADMASAMBHAVA'S ASURA CAVE PHARPING

Sunrise over the Himalayas from Dhulikhel is what drives hundreds of tourist in this hill staion town. After breakfast, we will drive to Pharping in the south of Kathmandu. Pharping (Yanglesho) is the place where Guru Padmasambhava attained the state of enlightenment. There are two major caves blessed by Padmasambhava. Drive back to Kathmandu and free evening for last hour packing.
OPTION : DAY 8 - 9: VISIT MARATIKA CAVE, HALESI

Maratika cave, Halesi is one of the six most important Buddhist pilgrimage site. This is where Buddha Amitabha taught eighteen Tantras of long life. The Dakini Sangwa Yeshe recorded and hid these teachings as Terma at Maratika. Later Guru Padmasambhava received the teachings. After practicing for ninety days, Buddha Amitayus appeared in the sky and gave initiations to the Guru and Mandarava. They then attained the Vidyadhara of longevity.
With the extension of highway, it is possible to take 4WD to Halesi and back. Maratika cave is located 221 km east of Kathmandu.
Day 10: Final departure
Our tour officer will come with a transportation to drive to the Kathmandu Airport for final departure.

पशुपतिनाथको मन्दिर र पाशुपत क्षेत्र प्राचीनकालदेखि नै विश्वभरका सनातन हिन्दूको श्रद्धा र आस्थाको केन्द्रबिन्दु एवं पवित्र तीर्थस्थलका रूपमा रहिआएको छ ।

देवपतन, जयवागेश्वरी, गौरीघाट, चावहिल, कुटम्बहाल, सिफल, गौशाला, पिगंलास्थान र श्लेष्मान्तक वन आसपासको विशाल क्षेत्रलाई ओगटेर २६४ हेक्टरको क्षेत्रफलमा फैलिएको पशुपति क्षेत्रमा ४९२ साना–ठूला विभिन्न शैलीका मठ मन्दिर, सत्तल, ढुंगेधारा, चैत्य, देवालय आदि धार्मिक तथा ऐतिहासिकस्थल र लगभग एक हजार शिवलिंग छन् ।

लिच्छवीकालदेखि नै पशुपति क्षेत्रका रुपमा प्रसिद्ध भएको यस क्षेत्रमा इसापूर्व तेस्रो शताब्दीसम्मका विभिन्न मूर्तिहरू पाइएका छन् ।
यो क्षेत्र काठमाडौं उपत्यकाकै प्राचीनतम् धार्मिकस्थल हो । अतिप्राचीन पूजास्थल, मठ मन्दिर र मूर्तिहरू तथा प्राचीन अभिलेखहरूको अवस्थितिले गर्दा यो क्षेत्र खुला संग्रहालय जस्तै देखिन्छ ।

मन्दिर खुल्ने समय

बिहान ४ बजे व्रहम मूहर्तमा पशुपतिनाथलाई जागा गराइन्छ ।
भट्टद्वारा पशुपतिनाथको स्नान गराईन्छ ।
९ः३० देखि ११ बजेसम्म सम्पूर्ण द्वारहरु भक्तजनहरुका लागि खुल्ला गरिन्छ । यसै समयमा विशेष पुजा पनि गरिन्छ ।
त्यसपछि बालभोग (हलुवा) को भोग दिइन्छ ।
सूर्यास्त हुनुभन्दा आधा घण्टा अगाडी आरती शुरु हुन्छ ।
विशेष दिन बाहेक सामान्यता ७ बजे मन्दिर बन्द हुन्छ ।
भगवान श्रीपशुपतिनाथको नित्यपूजाका क्रममा शालिग्रामको पूजाका साथै श्रीयन्त्रमा तान्त्रिक विधिले शक्तिपूजा समेत गरिने हुनाले र भगवान श्रीपशुपतिनाथलाई प्रति वर्ष बुद्धमुकुट पहिर्‍याउने भएकाले पनि भगवान् श्रीपशुपतिनाथ स्वयं धार्मिक समन्वयको प्रतिक रहेको पण्डित नारायणप्रसाद पौडेल बताउँछन् । विश्व सम्पदा सूचीमा सूचीकृत पशुपति दर्शन गर्न विश्वभरका हिन्दु धर्मावलम्बीहरूको विशेष घुँइचो लाग्छ ।

पशुपति दर्शन
हामीले पशुपति धेरै पटक दर्शन गरिसकेका छौ । कोही दर्शन गर्न जाने तयारीमा हुनुहुन्छ तर, विधि पु‍¥याएर कसरी गर्ने भन्नेबारे पण्डित नारायणप्रसादले दिएको जानकारी अनुसार, सबैभन्दा पहिलो चोखोनितो भएर पशुपति मन्दिर परिसर पुग्नुपर्छ । त्यहाँ जुत्ता चप्पल बाहिर खोलेर सुरक्षा जाँच गराएर पश्चिम ढोका हुँदै मूल मन्दिर जानुपर्छ ।

मन्दिरको पश्चिम ढोकैमा गुरूको मन्दिर छ । जुन गुरू पूर्णिमाका दिन मात्र खुला हुन्छ । पहिले यसको दर्शन गरेर भित्र जानुपर्छ । पशुपतिका मूल भट्टहरू पनि पहिले गुरूको पूजा गरेर मात्र मन्दिर भित्र प्रवेश गर्छन् ।

त्यसपछि पश्चिम गेट नजिकै रहेको गणेश र स्कन्द कुमारको दर्शन गर्नुपर्छ । त्यसपछि शंकराचार्य मठको दर्शन गर्ने । गणेशलाई दुबो र लड्डु चढाउने ।

धाराभन्दामाथि रहेको चाँगुनारायणको मन्दिरको दर्शन गरेर रूद्रकारेश्वरको दर्शनपछि मात्र पश्चिम मूल ढोलाको दर्शन गर्नुपर्छ ।

त्यसपछि बजरंगबली हनुमानको दर्शन गरिसकेर नटेश्वरको दर्शन गर्ने । त्यसपछि त्रिशूलको दर्शन गर्ने र सँगै रहेको अन्नपूर्ण माताको दर्शन गर्ने ।
त्यसपछि चन्डेश्वरको दर्शन गरेर पूर्व दिशामा रहेको सूर्यको दर्शन गर्ने । अनि लाल गणेशको दर्शन पछि मात्र बासुकीको दर्शन गर्न जानुपर्छ ।
बासुकी नागमा दर्शन गर्न तिल, जौ, दही, दुध, घ्यू र मह चढाउनु पर्छ । त्यसका लागि ११ सयदेखि करौडौंसम्मको विशेष पूजा हुन्छ । विशेष पूजा नगर्ने भक्तजनले सग्लो बेलपात पुजारीलाई भनेर चढाउन पाउँछन् ।

बासुकीको दर्शन पछि दाँयाबाँया बुढानिलकण्ठको दर्शन गर्ने । विष्णुलाई जौ र तिलले पूजा गर्ने । त्यसपछि पूर्वीद्वारको दर्शन गर्ने, भ्रृंगी, अष्ट चिरन्जिबीको दर्शन गरिसकेपछि बागमति नदिको दर्शन गर्ने । त्यहाँ छेउमै रहेको श्रीयन्त्रको दर्शनपछि सन्तानभरेश्वरको दर्शन गर्ने । यहाँ केही बेर आराम गर्ने ।

त्यसपछि श्रीकृष्णको दर्शन गर्ने र ल्याएको नरिवल फुटाउने । पशुपति मन्दिर परिसर भित्र यही मात्र नरिवल फुटाउन पाइन्छ ।
श्रीकृष्णको दर्शनपछि भैरवको दर्शन गर्ने । त्यसपछि उन्मत्त भैरवको दर्शन गरिसकेपछि शहस्र लिङ्गको दर्शन गर्ने ।
शहस्र लिङ्गमा बेलपात, तिल, जौ, दही, दुध, घ्यू र मह चढाउनुपर्छ ।

त्यसपछि नवदुर्गाको दर्शन गरेर नवग्रहको पूजा गर्ने । पशुपति मन्दिर दक्षिण–पश्चिम पट्टी रहेको वनग्रहमा तिल, जौ, दही, दुध, घ्यू र मह चढाउनुपर्छ ।

त्यसपछि नन्दिश्वर हनुमान र नन्दीलाई घुम्ने ।

अब दक्षिण ढोकाबाट मन्दिरलाई चिहाउने मात्र फेरि पूर्व जाने, त्यहाँ पनि चिहाउने र दक्षिण हुँदै पूर्वद्वारमा जाने ।

पूर्वद्वारसँगै रहेको तत्पुरूषको दर्शन गर्ने अनि फेरि दायाँहुँदै पश्चिम आउनुपर्छ ।

अब उत्तरमा बामदेवको दर्शन गरिसकेपछि मन्दिरको सिँडी ओर्लिने फेरि पेटीमा नचढ्ने । बाहिरबाटै पूर्वमा गएर पूर्वीद्वारबाट राम्रोसँग दर्शन गर्ने ।

शिवको ध्यान गर्ने नारायणको दर्शन गर्ने, गजुरको दर्शन गर्ने र शिवको साक्षात रूप सम्झिने । यति गरेपछि पशुपति मन्दिर परिसर भित्रको पूजा र दर्शन पूर्ण हुन्छ ।

विशेष गरी शिवरात्री तथा पूर्णिमाको दिन दर्शन गरे पूण्य हुने विश्वास छ । पूर्णिमाको दिन बिहानदेखि बेलुकासम्मै पूजा गरे साक्षात शिवजीको दशर्न पाइन्छ भन्ने विश्वास छ ।

विशेष पूजा नगरेमा बाशुकी र पशुपतिमा नच्यातिएको फूल बेलपत्र लग्यौ मन्दिरमा भट्टका सहायकहरूले चढाइदिन्छन् ।
पशुपतिको मूल मन्दिर भित्रै पसेर पूजा तथा दर्शन गर्न भट्टबाहेक कसैले पनि पाउँदैनन् । जस्तोसुकै विशेष पूजा भए पनि मन्दिरको मूल ढोकाबाट मात्र दर्शन गर्न पाउने परम्परा छ ।

पशुपति मन्दिर भित्र साढे ५ बजे बजेदेखि ८ बजेसम्म विशेष आरती हुन्छ । यो मन्दिरका भट्टहरूलेनै गर्ने आरती हो । यतिखेर मन्दिरका चारै ढोका खुल्ला हुन्छ । यस्तै पुस महिनामा रातिको समयमा विशेष पूजा हुन्छ । जुन उज्यालो हुँदा सकिन्छ ।

विशेष पूजा
पशुपतिनाथमा विशेष पूजा गर्न गराउन चाहने भक्तजनहरूले मन्दिरको पश्चिमी द्वारमा रहेको कोषको कार्यालयमा आफूले गराउन चाहेको विशेष पूजाको रसिद अघिल्लो दिन बेलुका ५ बजे अगाडि नै काट्नुपर्छ । प्रायः विशेष पूजा ११ सय देखि १ करोडसम्मको हुने गरेको छ ।
विशेष पूजाको लागि कर्ता दैनिक बिहान ९ः२० देखि १०ः४५ बजेसम्म उपस्थित भइसक्नुपर्नेछ । तोकिएको मिति र समयमा कर्ता उपस्थित नभएमा पनि पूजा भने रोकिने छैन ।

आफूले भुक्तान गरेको रसिद लिँदा नेपाली रूपैयाँ, भारतीय रूपैयाँ वा अन्य कुन मुद्रामा हो रसिदमा स्पष्ट गरी लिनुपर्ने हुन्छ ।
मन्दिर परिसरभित्र कुनै पनि मूर्ति र देवतालाई पूजा गर्दा पैसा नचढाउने । दानपात्रमा मात्र दान र दक्षिणा खसाल्नुपर्छ ।
दक्षिणा, भेटी रकम पूजारी वा अन्य कुनै व्यक्ति वा पक्षलाई हातमा नदिइ भेटी पात्रमा खसाल्ने ।

श्रीपशुपतिनाथको मन्दिर तथा मन्दिर प्रागंणभित्र रहेका अन्य मठमन्दिरमा सुन, चाँदी जस्ता बहुमूल्य धातुले बनेको सामान वा भाँडाकुडा वा बस्त्र लगायत अन्य जिन्सि सामान चढाउन चाहेमा कोषको पश्चिमीद्वारमा रहेको कार्यालयमा दर्ता गरी रसिद लिएर मात्र चढाउनु पर्छ ।
पूजा सामाग्री पशुपति क्षेत्रमा रहेका पसलहरूबाट खरिद गर्दा शुद्वता भए नभएको हेरी कोषबाट अनुमति लिएको छ, छैन सो हेरी खरिद गर्नुपर्नेछ । कोषले अनुमति नदिएका पूजा सामाग्री मन्दिर भित्र लैजान पाइन्न ।

पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिर तथा मन्दिर प्रागंणमा चढाउने र चढाइएका नगद, जिन्सि,फलफूल पूजा सामाग्री आदी सवै सुरक्षा जाँच गरेर मात्र भित्र लैजान पाइन्छ ।

मन्दिर र मन्दिर प्रांगणमा निषेध गरिएका सामानहरू सुरक्षा जाँच स्थल नजिकै निशुल्क लकरको व्यवस्था गरेको छ ।
पशुपतिनाथको सबै मठमन्दिरहरूको दर्शन गरिसकेपछि पश्चिम द्वारबाट बाहिर निस्कदा ढो काको छेउबाटै गजुरको दर्शन गरि ‘जय भोले ’ भनी ठूलो स्वरमा आह्वान गर्नुपर्छ ।

पाशुपत क्षेत्रका दर्शनीय मन्दिरहरू

वत्सलेश्वरी–आर्यघाट र भस्मेश्वरको बीचमा वागमती किनारमा वत्सलेश्वरीको सुन्दर दूईतले मन्दिर छ । यहाँ मूर्ति नभएर यन्त्र मात्र छ र सिद्धिकालीका रुपमा यिनको पूजा हुन्छ । वत्सलेश्वरीको जात्रा पशुपति क्षेत्रमा मनाइने सबैभन्दा मुख्य जात्रा हो र यो जात्रा प्रत्येक वर्ष चैत्र कृष्ण चतुर्दशीदेखि चारदिनसम्म धूमधामले मनाइन्छ ।

विश्वरुप– मृगस्थलीको पूर्वछेउमा वनको बीचमा राजपूताना गुम्बज शैलीको भव्य र विशाल विश्वरूपा मन्दिर छ । जंगबहादुरको समयमा ई. १८६७ अघि नै बनेको यस मन्दिरमा शिवशक्तिको रतावस्थाको अत्यन्त विशाल ढलौटे मूर्ति प्रतिष्ठित छ। यो मन्दिर चौघराले घेरिएको छ र चौघराभित्र चार कुनामा शिवपार्वती, लक्ष्मीनारायण, सीताराम र राधाकृष्णका ढलौटका युगलमूर्तिहरू थापिएका छन् । अनन्तनारायण–वत्सलेश्वरीको मन्दिरसँगै सम्पूर्ण रूपमा टेराकोटाबाट बनेको अनन्तनारायणको उभिएको विशाल मूर्ति छ । मल्लकालको यो मूर्ति पाशुपत क्षेत्रको दर्शनीय मूर्तिहरू मध्ये एक हो ।

किरातेश्वर महादेव–पशुपति मन्दिर पारी पट्टी, गौरीघाटको माथि डाँडामा रहेको किरातेश्वर मन्दिर पाशुपत क्षेत्रको अर्को दर्शन गर्नै पर्ने मन्दिर हो। यसको स्थापना किरातकालिन पालामा भएको हो । यहाँ भगवान शंकरले किरातेश्वरको रूप धारण गरेर बसेको हुनाले मन्दिरको नाम किरातेश्वर रहन गएको किंवदन्ती छ ।

गुह्येश्वरी–बागमती नदीको दक्षिणी किनारामा यो मन्दिर अवस्थित छ । सतीदेवीको गुहृय पतन भएको ठाउँमा उत्पन्न भएकी देवी हुनाले गुहृयेश्वरी नाम रहन गएको विश्वास गरिन्छ ।

यो स्थानमा सर्वप्रथम तेत्तीसकोटी देवताहरू पूजा–आराधना गरेको विश्वास पनि छ । घटस्थापनादेखि नै गुहृयेश्वरीमा विशेष पूजा आराधना गरिन्छ । यहाँ देवीहरूको कुनै मूर्ति छैन । सतीदेवीको गुह्य पतन भएको स्थानमा मन्दिरको गर्भगृह छ । त्यहाँ एउटा सानो दुलो मात्र छ जहा चाँदीको कलशले ढाकिएको मन्दिरभित्रको जलपूर्ण कुण्डलाई श्रद्धालुहरू देवीका रूपमा पूजा गर्ने गर्दछन् । गुहृयेश्वरीको महिमा नेपाल माहात्म्य, हिमवत्खण्ड, श्रीस्वस्थानी व्रतकथा आदिमा बताइएको छ ।

यो शक्तिपीठ पु‍राणमा वर्णित ५१ शक्तिपीठहरू मध्ये एक भएकोले सारा संसारका धर्मालम्बीहरूका लागि विशेष पुजनीय रहेको छ । यहाँ सतीदेवीको योनी पतन भएको किम्बदन्ति छ ।

यस्तै बौद्ध तन्त्रको स्वरूपविहीन स्वरूप वा स्कन्दपुराणको हिमवत्खण्ड (नेपाल महात्म्यमा)मा तथा भाषा वंशावलीमा, सतीदेवीको गुहृयपतन भएको श्लेष्मान्तक वनमा भगवती गुहृयेश्वरीको उत्पत्ति भएको वर्णन पाइन्छ । परम्पराअनुसार पुराणमा उल्लेखित यस पीठको स्वरूप पहिले जलमग्न रूपमा गुप्त नै थियो पछि प्रताप मल्ल (ने.सं. ७६२(७९४) का समकालीन तान्त्रिक नरसिंह ठाकुरले गुहृयदेवीको यस स्थानमा दर्शन पाएर पूजा–उपासना गरेको वर्णन पाइन्छ ।

गुहृयेश्वरी भनेको र ’गुहृया’ शक्तिका नामले चिनिने स्त्री, पुरुष र नपुंसकसमेतबाट वन्दनीय ’काली’ स्वरूपमा यिनलाई ’गुहृय काली’ समेत भनिन्छ ।

Detailed Itinerary
Day-01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Namaste & Welcome to Nepal! On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a Yeti Holidays’ representative will greet you at the airport and es**rt you to your hotel and help you check in. You will then be briefed about your daily activities. After lunch, you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of Boudhanath.

Boudhanath: One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal; Boudhanath is one of the holiest structures imposing a height of 36 meters with three massive level Mandala style platforms. It is surrounded by colourful buildings housing families creating a friendly enclosure. The Stupa is visited every year by tens of thousands of pilgrims from all over the world.

Day-02: Sunrise from Dhulikhel & visit to Namo Bouddha
Breakfast at hotel. Sightseeing tour of Dhulikhel and Namo Bouddha.
Dhulikhel: The spectacular snowed mountains seen from Dhulikhel must be one of the finest panoramic views in the world. When a blue haze covers the lower portion of the mountains, they seem to be floating in the air. With the snowy mountains on the backdrop, Dhulikhel is a stage of immense beauty and a paradise for nature lovers. Green inviting hills of beautifully carved agricultural terraces cater to the beholders' pleasure.

Namo Bouddha: Founded at the site where “the future Buddha sacrificed his body to a tigress” in 1978, it was a small retreat center that has now grown into a large monastery. The site is supremely sacred to Tibetan Buddhists where the perfect and supreme Buddha – at that time still on the path of learning – offered his own body without regret to a tigress and her four cubs suffering from great hunger. This legendary episode is depicted in a very nice stone slab and placed right next to a holy Stupa. On the way, if you are visiting during summer and monsoon, you will get to see how Nepalese People plant and harvest the crop.

Kathmandu City: Kasthamandap, the source of the name Kathmandu means ‘made from the timber of a single tree’. Also known as Kantipur, the capital Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal's art and culture. It is a place for rest, relaxation and easy-day sightseeing of historic and artistic temples and monuments. Kathmandu Durbar Square with its arrays of temples and the ancient palaces of the former Nepali Royals enriches your experience of the centuries old civilisation.

Swoyambhunath: Said to be around 2000 years old, this Buddhist Stupa sits atop a hill. The main stupa is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire crowned by a pinnacle of Copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. The hill of Swayambhu is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples. You’ll get a scenic view of Kathmandu city from there.

Day-03: FLY TO LUMBINI
After breakfast, transfer to domestic airport for flight to Lumbini. On reaching Lumbini, you’ll be assisted and transferred to your hotel by an office representative. Check-in at hotel.

Lumbini is one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites. It is the place where Queen Mayadevi is said to have given birth to Siddhartha Gautama, who as the Gautama Buddha founded Buddhism in Puskarini or Holy Pond - where the Buddha's mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he, too, had his first bath. The remains of Kapilvastu palace where Buddha spent his younger days are preserved in Lumbini. Lumbini was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

Lumbini is the perfect place to visit to if you are into cultural, archaeological and religious treasures. With the number of stupas, meditation grounds, temples, courtyards and more, a walk in Lumbini is a walk with Buddha. Enter the birthplace of one of the greatest man of world religions - Siddharta Gautama, founder of Buddhism - and be captivated by its serene environment and meditate and reflect with its outmost tranquility and peaceful atmosphere.

Day-04: FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU
After breakfast transfer to domestic airport for flight to Lumbini. Reach Lumbini and be assisted and transferred to your hotel by an office representative. Check-in at hotel. After lunch, visit Benchen Monastery in Pharping.

Pharping is a thriving, traditional Newari settlement. The town is popular with both Tibetan and Hindu pilgrims. The area is sacred for religious and spiritual practitioners. Benchen Monastery in Pharping is home to revered Tibetan masters. The Retreat is for a three years traditional training to become a lama. During this time, the monks devote themselves entirely to the study of the religion without any distraction. After 3 years, 3 months, and 3 weeks – on a lucky date – the first group of lamas leave the retreat. Overnight at hotel
