The enduring legacy of Sister Max How an African-American school teacher came to Nepal in the 1960s, established a private art gallery and helped found the Kopan Monastery.

This was reconstructed by DIPAMKARA SRIJNAN ATISHA on 1039 to 1041 CE.

This is one of the oldest Vihara and contains SATA-SAHASHRIKA PRAJNAPARAMITA
(100,000 Verses Prajnaparamita)
GOLDEN SUTRAS

It's also called SERR-BHUM / LUIN-BHUM in Tibet.
Revealed from Serpent Kingdom by Arya Nagarjuna on 2nd Century CE.
These Four Volumes of Prajnaparamita are Main Concept of Mahayana and Bajrayana Buddhism and 5th Volume is Middle School of Mahayana Buddhism.
