A Vision for Workplace Wellness: ILO Nepal Staff Receive First-Ever Workplace Eye Screening - The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness In a first of its type event, the International Labour Organization (ILO) partnered with the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) and Nepal Eye Hospital to conduct the first-ever workplace eye screening at the ILO’s Kathmandu office on May 8, 2024.

School eye health program at Shree Mahalaxmi School, Lubhu, Lalitpur. A total of 512 students were examined and 25 prescribed for spectacles. Those prescribed with spectacles will be provided spectacles free of cost.

School Screeining Eye Camp organized by Nepal Eye Hospital at Adarsha Saula Secondary School, Bungmati, Lalitpur. A total of 834 students were examined during the program, and 60 of them were prescribed spectacles.

School Eye Screening program conducted at Mangal Secondary School, Kirtipur, Kathmandu on 8th & 9th of Jesth 2081. A total of 820 students were examined and 85 were prescribed spectacles.

Nepal Eye Hospital today marked its 50th Anniversary with a commemorative Scientific Program.
