Our Story

Switchback Nepal, established in Jan 2014, is a group of like minded, passionate lads striving to promote and develop the mountain biking and off-road adventure scene in Nepal, while persistently empowering women and underprivileged riders. We believe in cultivating a healthy lifestyle and that there's nothing better than mountain biking for that! We stand to promote off-road adventure & mountain biking sport in Nepal through races, tours & training camps.

Started with an event company, "Switchback Nepal" started organizing cross country, downhill races and also did mountain biking tours. Mountain biking scene was not so good few years back when we started. There were not much mountain biking events happening. There were lot of interested and passionate riders but not so many platforms where they could portray their talents. The idea came up with this click of passion towards mountain biking and the sense of lack of proper base for the sport during that time. We wanted to contribute towards this sport and make it bigger.

Switchback Nepal has now branched out and opened a gear shop for mountain bikers and off-road adventurers focusing on providing quality riding gears for performance, safety and durability. We are continuously seeking for new opportunities that can contribute towards the growth of this industry. We are driven towards influencing people to go outdoors and play the sport to have a lifetime adventure!
