Some pottery work happening in the studio!
Had a great time on the canal near Stoke-on-Trent. We were join by the wonderful Thomas and Tamara for the last 3 days. They were a fantastic lock opening team, and Thomas cooked up a storm in the small galley, which was the best meal of the trip so far! We do miss them but they do promise to be back in NZ in the not too distant future.
New cups out of the kiln today. Sometimes glazes make a fool of you! Not sure what drawing here but it is definitely a c**k and balls cup now.

It’s been a long time coming and the studio is not finished yet but starting to make a few bits and pieces.
Good job not quite set up to use these wheels yet.
It's been a busy couple of months, and this week things are progressing, one being the moving of the kiln from the top of our property to down under the house. You know you are living rural when the local drainlayer offers his dad's tractor to move your kiln for you. Glen Campbell from Dam Great Drainage did a great job working in the tight space. I didn't manage to get footage of the kiln coming along the road in the tractor but there is probably enough video to bore you....
Thanks for the walnuts Chrys and Adie. They were yum!
Yesterday was moving day for the big things.
