At Arnet Law we work in two teams. One lead by Gavin and the other lead by Miriam. Miriam’s team is our Family and Litigation Team. Miriam has a sterling track record of successes in the District, Family and High Courts.

Miriam works closely with Morgan and Sheemal. Sheemal has practiced in the area of property and trusts for her first few years in practice, and then made the move to family and litigation. Morgan started his career in employment law and has since made the move into family law and litigation.

Miriam and the team look after a raft of matters from Care of Children & Relationship Property to Will and Estate claims, Family Protection Act and Testamentary Promise claims.

As with all litigators they accustomed to the seemingly overwhelming situations which arise in litigation but will always strive to ensure common sense prevails and the best possible outcome for their clients whether this is through the Courts or other means of resolution including negotiation and mediation.

Meet Sheemal - Sheemal joined us mid lockdown and is super excited to be in the office now we are at level 2.
Sheemal attended Auckland University of Technology where she graduated with a degree in Law. Sheemal joined the firm recently in March 2020 as a member of the firm's family law team and is primarily based in the Pukekohe office.
Prior to joining the firm Sheemal practiced pre-dominantly in the general practice areas of law and has since then found a keen interest in family law. Outside of the office, Sheemal enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Are you hanging out for level 2?!
We can't wait to be back in the office!
We will be in from Monday the 18th onwards. There will be a few of us juggling childcare until school goes back and the children are settled. Rest assured there will be plenty of us in the office for you to talk to.
We prefer a call ahead to let us know you will be stopping by (for tracing if needed).
We will have hand sanitizer available around the office and have ramped up our cleaning between meetings etc.
