Our group is run by rainbow Filipino and allies in Auckland. We are all volunteers who imperfectly try to support the community in our own little and fun ways.
"Uniting rainbow Filipinos and allies through charity." Our organisation was founded by Isaac "Ice" Loyola in the Philippines back in 2009, and then he recreated the group in 2017 in Auckland, New Zealand, with the help of Grace, Nica, Harvi, Tim and Lica. In 2019, it became a registered charity organisation in New Zealand. We believe that everyone needs to be valued and can make a difference in t
Braved the forecasted rain, the Pride march was a testament to our resilience. Amidst the uncertainty, the weather smiled upon us, allowing a celebration of pride visible to all. 🌈 Sometimes, people hurt us, leave us, and life throws heaps of challenges our way, but we persisted, stood tall, and remained proud, united in the face of adversity, proving that nothing could dim the brilliance of our spirit.✨

What a fantastic way to kick off Auckland Pride Month! 🌈 Our team came together and donated a whopping 279 cherished items to Waka of Caring. It's truly heartwarming to see our community rally behind such a wonderful cause.
Waka of Caring, nestled in Manurewa, South Auckland, is a beacon of support for all without any judgment. "No criteria required, just a please, thank you, and a smile" - what a beautiful motto! 🥹
Pride for us is fighting for our rights and also celebrating love and acceptance, and giving back to those who need it most.❤️
Can’t believe I forgot to share this photo from last December at Mission Bay, my bad! 🎄📸 From Thai food to Starbucks goodness and the best time exchanging gifts – those red paper bags and the Slum Dunk one were definitely highlights!🏀 We even cracked ourselves up laughing over silly things like Anesthesia😅💉 But besides the fun and games, we also had a heartfelt chat about the challenges of helping those far away and how sometimes it’s easier to start by making a difference closer to our proximity. Because even small acts of kindness towards those around us can ripple outwards and create a wave of positivity. 💓🌈

We're thrilled to share that our team's Fundraising Karaoke Night was a success! 🎉🎶 Not only did we have an incredible time singing our hearts out, but we also managed to raise a fantastic $70 to support our future projects. Every single dollar counts and will make a significant impact on what we have in store!
A massive shoutout to everyone who joined us and contributed to this wonderful evening. Your support means the world to us, and we can't thank you enough. 🙌🏽❤️

Had the most amazing catch-up lunch today with our incredible Proud team! 🌈💙💚💛🧡❤️💜 We laughed, we shared stories, and we reminded ourselves of the importance of embracing our true selves every single day. 🌟
We totally rocked SOGIE 101 today! 🤘🏽It's all about spreading SOGIE awareness whenever we can. I gotta say, it was awesome connecting with folks who were super eager to learn more about SOGIE. It's moments like these that make a real difference! 🌈🫶🏽

On this joyous occasion of Pride, we, the vibrant and resilient q***r people of colour and allies, come together to celebrate our intersectional identities and spread love, unity, and unyielding pride. In a world that has often marginalised and silenced us, we rise above, shining brightly as a testament to our strength and the beauty of our diversity. 🌈🦄

Is the team keen on this? 😅
Thanks, team! We had fun, plus we raised enough money to help us fill a grocery bag for another person/household in need! 🏳️🌈👍🏽
CREATE AN ARTWORK GAME 🤗
Each piece was drawn by three people. The papers were folded, so we had no idea what was drawn by the other person initially. The instruction was to draw anything for 1 minute, then pass the paper to your right to add more drawings, and repeat until the piece has three drawings from three different people.
One drawing magically matched (check which one). The rest were super random.😅
