Our culinary team at Trocadero has crafted a Christmas dinner menu that is nothing short of exceptional. The story of Broken Heart Gin begins with two Germans living in New Zealand’s Southern Alps, Joerg was a pilot and Bernd an engineer. Both philosophers and committed Master Distillers, they formed their friendship around a still and a passion for perfecting spirits of rare complexity and fine flavours. What would you mix it with? 🍸

An enticing drop with lively perfume and floral notes with honeysuckle, marmalade and apricots. The intensity of the botrytis and limoncello and citrus characters are a fitting introduction to the palate.

Our 'Fish of the Day' is served with grilled courgetti, courgetti flower, peas, basil lemon dressing, courgetti basil puree - a perfect option for the gluten-free guests among us!

Made from organic grapes, this noble blend shows off with aromas of juicy dark plums, black fruits and berries. Subtle spices, herbs and dark chocolate add to the complexity.

We've been working hard on curating some new dishes that we can't wait for you to try!

Today our friends in the USA are celebrating their national beer day so we thought we'd share with you one of our favourite American inspired ales sitting on tap here at Trocadero - the Urbanaut Brewing Co Mission APA! 🍺

This American Pale Ale uses US hops and all kiwi malt and is described by Urbanaut as being a sturdy ale shed-loads of dry-hopping - it pours a gorgeous auburn colour, with hop aromas of tropical fruit and sweet orange, then on tasting has flavours of grapefruit and pine. Rounded out with a taste of toffee and welcome bitterness.
