Some of you may remember a few weeks ago, I struggled to share HDR photos on social media. But sharing HDR video is a lot easier as Youtube supports HDR video. We went to see the Relics exhibition at the Auckland Museum today, and... it's AMAZING! Really creative Lego display and love the games they created so everyone can have fun searching for the answers. We only stayed for two hours but I could really spend whole day there taking photos of the different Lego scenes there. Maybe I should go back with a proper macro lens again without the kids LOL.
These photos were shot with the Lumix S9 with Sigma 45mm 2.8 All are JPG straight out of camera graded in camera using Real Time LUT.

Just two weeks after the Panasonic Lumix S9 announcement, we have another new camera from Panasonic. This time it's a camera designed for completely different target users , Lumix GH7. The camera has 5.7k INTERNAL ProRes RAW recording, 32bit float audio (with XLR2 adaptor), uncropped unlimited 10bit 4K120 recording, latest autofocus system, it even has the certified Arri LOG C3 output support so you can match the footage from the GH7 with Arri Alexa cam! TTArtisan has just announced their new 250mm f/5.6 Reflex lens. I have been testing it for a little while now. Unfortunately, I haven't got enough time to finish my review because of the really busy review schedule at the moment, and I don't want to rush and publish the review when I've not finished all my testing yet.
So here are a few photos I shot using this lens. All are unedited JPG straight out of camera from the Lumix S9. Review of this lens will come hopefully in July/Aug! Let me know if there is anything you want to know about this lens.

When I was in Japan attending the Lumix summit, one morning I went out before breakfast with the Lumix S9 and the 26mm f/8 lens to shoot some photos on the Osaka streets. Here is a video with the SOOC JPGs i shot during that morning photo walk, all photos were shot in my favourite 65:24 aspect ratio using Real Time LUT.

One of the most useful improvements that comes with the Lumix S9 is the improved Real Time LUT. The new LUT button, combines with the brand new workflow, more powerful yet easier setup, the ability to download and install LUTs using the brand new Lumix Lab app, and the fact that you can create your own LUT using the app and have it installed on your camera ready to use, all within a minute just really impressed me. I've published an in-depth review on my Youtube channel (link at the top) which I talked about the pros and cons I found about this camera, and why Lumix made some certain design decisions, I also shared with you all the test results and real-world experience of this little camera.

Panasonic just released a monster firmware update for the Lumix S5II (fw3.0) and Lumix S5IIx (fw2.0).
There are a bunch of new improvements including new AI autofocus subject detection, new E-Stab High settings that includes perspective distortion control, pre-burst shooting in RAW/JPG, proxy video recording, frame.io support which allows you to backup file to cloud immediately anywhere and more!!

Sony's latest FE 24-50 2.8 has a fast f/2.8 constant aperture but only 2x zoom. It is quite a bit smaller, lighter and cheaper than Sony's excellent FE 24-70 f/2.8 GMII, but is the performance any good? It is also very similar to the size, weight and price of the FE 20-70mm f/4G, so which is the better lens? I got all the answers for you in my in-depth review

Who would have thought a 7x Zoom full frame lens can be as compact as a kit lens! This new Lumix S 28-200 OIS lens has completely redefined what All-in-one could be!
This is my longest lens review so far and there are many good reasons why it’s so long.
There are just way too many things I want to test and talk about
