A big shout out to Jasmine who raised $100 for us by baking and selling cookies as part of a school charitable cause project.
make awesome cat blankets, hammocks, and catnip toys at great prices. They are also incredibly generous and often donate boxes of goodies for our foster homes.
Check out our cute foster kittens below loving their hammocks and blankets that have been donated 😻
We are thrilled to have be given a Lottery Minister's Discretionary Fund grant. The grant will be used to help towards the costs of desexing kittens and cats over the next few months. Just in time for the start of kitten season 😻.

Chip and Dip - both male, approx 4.5 months old, fostered in Army Bay - READY NOW
TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER
Chip and Dip both have amazing personalities! They're so so cute, super friendly, confident, love to play and be silly. They don't meow a lot, are quite quiet but they have infectious purrs and one of them is always up for a cuddle.
Chip and Dip are well bonded so must be adopted together, but they do make the perfect pair for anyone willing to open their home and hearts to two cats.
Their foster family absolutely loves them, they say they are the best cats ever and if they could stay with them forever then they would!
Don't miss out on these beautiful boys!
A big shout out to Grayson and Gessami. Yesterday they sold toys at their local Swanson Market for a gold coin donation to us and raised $70 😻.
Thank you Grayson and Gessami for donating your Sunday and your toys to raise money for us. That's so awesome 😻.
Maia's rescue journey:
Maia was found crying, full of cat flu, and all alone at around 4 weeks of age at a house removal site. She was fostered, then adopted by the people who found her. She made a full recovery from her cat flu.
After 2 weeks of having her third eyelid stitched across her eye in the hope that it would help to heal an eye ulcer that had got worse despite daily eye drops, Fern had her stitches removed on Tuesday.
We are delighted that the ulcer has healed and there is just a small amount of fuzziness to her cornea that should resolve with a bit more time 😻.

Max's rescue journey:
Max is a true survivor. He was found as a friendly stray and we were unable to locate his owners. He came into our care with a cloudy eye, ragdoll eye tremors, dental disease, a retained testicle, umbilical hernia, and deformed wrists (suspected to have been caused by injuries that hadn't been treated). After surgery to remove his retained testicle and correct his umbilical hernia, surgery on both of his wrists, and a dental, he is living his best (and very spoilt) life as a foster fail.
We have 4 tote bags left at only $10 each
They are a great size and really sturdy
Can be collected from the Gutter Kitties Op Shop or posted for an additional cost.

Ollie and Ava - male and female, approx 5 months old, fostered in Torbay - READY NOW
TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER
Meet Ollie and Ava. Two little football, cuddle and food loving siblings.
These two have not had an easy start to life, they came from our big South Auckland colony as sick young kittens, but have blossomed to be the most snuggly kitties who are now perfectly healthy.
Ollie and Ava both love human company and would spend all day and night on your lap or chest if they could. However they have been totally fine home alone as well whilst their foster family is at work, so long as they’ve had each other.
It won’t be hard to fall in love with these two beautifully playful, calm and cuddly siblings. You’ll be sorry if you miss out on them!
Both are litter trained, desexed, microchipped and registered, and vaccinated. Please drop us a private message if you’d like to meet them, adoption fee and criteria apply.
We love updates from our adopted cats furever homes. This one is from Axel's family who is living his best life, along with Buster and Vector who are all ex Paw Pad boys. A fantastic representation of how unsocialised street cats can, with some TLC, be transformed into amazing family cats 😻.
Big shout out to Bunnings Warehouse New Zealand Silverdale for donating a $50 gift card for our father's day raffle.
Tickets are $3 each or 4 for $10.
Bank account details are in the comments.
Please ref "dad" and phone number on your payment.
The winners will be drawn next Weds!

AMAZING NEWS! Huge thank you to Purrs & Beans NZ for fostering this special girl for more than three years that she's been in our care, and for finding her a purrfect furever home 😻. If you haven't heard of Purrs & Beans, they are an awesome cat cafe in Birkenhead which is definitely worth a visit!
Bella’s face when we told her she will have a home of her very own 😺
We have some FANTASTIC news to share - we’ve matched our very special Bella to her forever family 💝🎉

Piper has graduated from The Paw Pad!!!! After 18 months of amazing devotion from our volunteers to socialise her, she's off on another (wonderful) adventure to a foster home ❤️
Sarah has graduated the Paw Pad! This shy girl came to us this March from a colony in Silverdale at 4 months old. She will continue to blossom and gain confidence in her new foster home 🥰
