Carrying a brand refresh onto an existing website can be so simple and cost effective. You may not need a full overhaul, just some simple tweaks to reflect the new look.

After 15 years in the industry, Mia Casa felt it was time for a slight brand refresh, nothing too drastic, there was heritage to preserve for a loyal client base. For this reason, red needed to stay at the forefront.

Taking a slight step away from the existing logo, we retained the all caps ex*****on, but freshened the typeface with a more considered, geometrical flavour. This was then housed in a red frame with angled corners, echoing the angles in the typeface, to add dynamism and architectural edge.

This communicates ‘framing up’ a concept, looking at things from a new perspective and in its boxed form, connects with the robust, solid, angular style of a lot of their projects. The secondary version of the logo (reversed out) was created to offer a sophisticated, stripped back, contemporary variation on the logo.

Mia Casa Architecture, in Ormiston, has been rebranded! So thrilled to see their new signage go up a couple of weeks ago. What a result. I'm so pleased to see what a difference this subtle yet striking refresh has made - congratulations Mia Casa Architecture Limited on 15 years designing beautiful homes, here's to the next! 🥂

I can finally share another exciting project by and for - YOUTH SPACE! Heading to the opening this Saturday, but for now I’m so pleased with the beautiful finish and install from Southan Print Ltd of the window graphics I designed with .

Dedicated to meeting the needs and aspirations of young people in the East Auckland region, The East Auckland Youth Space is funded by The Howick Local Board, delivered by Te Tuhi and supported by Botany Town Centre and Howick Youth Council.

Driven by a peer-led learning model, the youth space empowers young individuals to develop, test, and bring their ideas to life based on their own experiences. It’s a space where creativity and innovation are encouraged, and where every voice is heard.

The youth space will be open seven days a week with after school and weekend drop-in times extended during the school holidays.

Located within Botany Town Centre, 588 Chapel Road, East Tāmaki, Auckland 2016, the youth space is on the first floor, on the same level as the Hoyts Cinema, next to Robert Harris Coffee shop.

My 3rd project at Botany Town Centre with Te Tuhi and Arts Out East is now up and officially opening this Saturday!

The East Auckland Youth Space is opening this weekend at Botany Town Centre! Come along at 11am, Saturday (6 April) and celebrate the opening of this new initiative with local entertainment and refreshments.

Dedicated to meeting the needs and aspirations of young people in the East Auckland region, The East Auckland Youth Space is funded by The Howick Local Board, delivered by Te Tuhi and supported by Botany Town Centre and Howick Youth Council.
