She was a classic crisp spring morning in Auckland with a brisk head wind all the way from Milford and over the bridge! Incredibly punishing to say the least.
It was an excellent and smooth organised event by Their biggest ever event too with 18,000 runners and walkers! Soo cool to see everyone out there giving it a good thrash!
Plus Jacqui managed to smash her goal of sub 2 hours with 1:59:25 !! Wahoo and well done!!

Introducing our 2024 entry for the 7th Annual Great NZ Toastie Takeover Que-so, ra sera


It comprises of the perfect sourdough from our local epic team at , with Oscar’s signature queso funadido (Mexican cheese sauce for those down the back), white onion, jalapenos, creamed sweet corn (ohhh yessss!!) and a smashed chorizo patty. And of course no Toastie is complete without bread and butter pickles wedged inside!!

Boooom, do we have a winner ??!!!
If we made it to the semi finals last year surrounded by some big names, I think this one might actually be the one.

To celebrate the beautiful skies over the weekend with the incredible aurora lights, we’ve coloured our favourite carrot cake with the same dusty pink hues. It’s also topped with roasted walnuts and lemon zest and is as yummy as ever!!

Happy Mother’s Day !! What an absolute beauty of a morning. The sunrise this morning is incredible.

We also have a double batch of Jacqui’s cinnamon and brown sugar brioche for the fan club (that’s 36 of them!!).
