We have now become Clean Air Stars! We encourage businesses and schools to do the same. The basics are not hard and will essentially eliminate indoor transmission of Covid and Flu. Start with opening windows, CO2 monitoring, HEPA filters (around $200), fresh air mechanical ventilation, and now UV-C ceiling lamps, that kill every single microbe. We all RAT test daily and wear N95 or P100 masks. This means we can now safely have multiple people in the building again.

Second boosters (Min Health NZ)

A second booster is recommended for those at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19 – a minimum of 6 months after a first booster. For those who are not considered at risk of severe illness from COVID-19, a two-dose primary course and a first booster dose provides very good protection against severe illness from COVID-19 at this time.

The following people are recommended to receive a second booster as a priority:

people aged 65 years and over
Māori and Pacific peoples aged 50 years and over
residents of aged care and disability care facilities
severely immunocompromised people who received a three-dose primary course and a fourth dose as a first booster (noting this would be a fifth dose for these people)
people aged 16 years and over who have a medical condition that increases the risk of severe breakthrough COVID-19 illness and
people aged 16 years and over who live with disability with significant or complex health needs or multiple comorbidities.

In addition, a second booster is available for:

all people aged over 50 years
health, aged care and disability workers aged over 30 years.

We would recommend everyone get a flu vax, its a very unpleasant new strain out there. Now free for kids age 3-12.

There are 107 active cases of SARS in Cromwell at present. Influenza A is becoming widespread, age over 6 months can get fluvax

This is from Australias expert panel on Covid last week. NZ and Australia have high, if not the highest, rates of death in the world currently from Covid. Hundreds of NZ's experts are advocating the same @ vaccinesplus.nz . Compare this to what you know and have seen in the public messaging, particularly that Covid is an AIRBORNE disease. I would add that an infection only gives about a month of immunity, you can then get reinfected. Long Covid is already causing significant problems for dozens of our patients. Do NOT be blase about catching covid.

This shows that its is incredibly rare to catch covid from "dirty hands" or your groceries. Its all up in the air. By a factor of 1000. Wear a N95/P2 mask if you are near any other people outside your house.
