Concord School
We are a Year 1 to Year 6 Primary School at 5 Thoreau Street, Concord, Dunedin.
‘Our Kids Online’ – A reminder about this event being held next Monday September 9th. It would be fantastic to see a full turnout of Concord whānau at this. We have partnered with five other South Dunedin schools to bring Rob and Zareen Cope to Dunedin for ‘Our Kids Online’, where they will address concerns and present strategies for dealing with online threats and the possible consequences to young minds.
It is only a koha entry at the door, but you must book a seat. You can use this QR code to take you directly to the booking page, or go to their webpage https://www.eventbrite.com/e/our-kids-on-line-tickets-995699693587?aff=oddtdtcreator

SCHOOL PHOTOS POSTPONED - We have decided to reschedule our annual school photos which were to have been taken tomorrow. With the very high number of absences today it was felt that it would be a shame not to have as many students as possible at school for their photos. We will let you know a new confirmed date for the photos as soon as we have it. Any sibling photos that have been preordered can be held over to this new date.
CROSS COUNTRY POSTPONED - Sadly on such a beautiful day we have had to postpone today's cross country races due to a very high number of absences. We will reschedule it again once junior swimming classes have finished.
Junior Swimming - a reminder that lessons for Makomako class begin tomorrow at the Mosgiel Pool. All students will need swimming togs and towel, and can bring goggles if they have them. The bus will leave at 11am and return by 1pm. We still need some parent helpers to come with us please - you are welcome to swim or just be on the side.
