Before school, Awhina Atu councillors will be in the courtyard happy to paint the faces of those who wish to become even pinker!

STUDENT PROFILE MEETINGS NEXT WEEK: Is there anything your child’s teacher needs to know? Parents and whānau may wish to take the opportunity to share any information they think their child’s teacher needs to know about their child or their learning in 10-minute student profile meetings. Bookings are made via the Skool Loop app.
FREE PLAY EVENT FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE TOMORROW FROM 3PM to 4:30PM.
This Wednesday evening from 5.30pm, bring along some 'picnic kai' and join other families and teachers in the main courtyard for a casual dinner.
At 6pm Tai Timu classrooms (Y1 - Y3) will open for you to visit and hear more about learning programmes, routines and expectations. It's also a great time to get to know more about your child's teacher.
Tai Pari classrooms (Y4 - Y6) open at 6.30pm.

We're getting ready for the start of the new school year.
Our Office re-opened today. Hours are 8:30 - 3:00 on weekdays until our start date of Wednesday 31 January. Office hours will then revert to the usual 8:00 - 4:00.
Stationery packs are available. Payment can be made by EFTPOS (not credit), cash or Internet Banking. If you already make regular automatic payments to us, packs can be added to your account.
You may wish to enrol your child in these very affordable music classes taught by passionate and experienced staff from SMMC Otago.
A scooter, a puffer vest, a hoodie and a sweatshirt have all been left behind. If they're yours you can collect them this week.
TOMORROW'S THE DAY for our FAMILY FIESTA which includes the CRAZY COLOUR CHASE and a BLANKET SALE (similar to a car boot sale). Gates open at 11am and the weather forecast is looking great!
Purchase $2 tickets at the gates, in the school grounds or at our main office. Activities, rides, food, and drinks (except those from the coffee cart) use up just one of your tickets. You'll need two tickets (worth $4) to enter the CRAZY COLOUR CHASE.
Cash is preferred, however EFTPOS will be available in our office for purchasing the $2 tickets.
