Looking for somewhere to coffee and eat on this chilly Dunedin day, come in and visit us at Brū, we’re here until 2pm!

Several months ago we made the switch to local roasters, Grid Coffee!

I enjoy the fact people can stop in at the roastery for coffee, hot food, giftware and pretty much all the hot drink paraphernalia you can think of. You can also see the roasting action happening right behind the counter, aaaand have a pretty sweet yarn with some pretty cool people!

Yo, happy Matariki week! Brū is gonna be rollin' with hot coffee and all the cabinet classics from 9 to 2, no extra charge for the holiday vibes! Come thaw those frosty paws by the heater and let's kick off the short week with a bang!

The cafe always looks beautiful all lit up in fairy lights. This is our retro inspired 3 course meal set up, starting with fondue! Brū is available for private evening functions, minimum of 10 people. Conditions apply.

We’re pleased to let you all know Brū will be open for the mid-winter carnival, held on the grounds of first church. We will be open 5:30pm until 9pm both Friday and Saturday nights. We aim to have most of our usual hot and cold cabinet goodies available, along side a small evening menu and of course a full range of steamy hot beverages to help everyone stay warm. We’ll see you here!

Wow, what a week! First we’d like to thank all our loyal customers, without your support we couldn’t to what we love to do.
Our new menu is going well, and we appreciate the feedback on our regular specials. If there’s a specific special meal you’d like to see let us know we are open to suggestions always.
We should have a new toastie pie machine this coming week, after the last one met a tragic end..
But most importantly we are here all Kings birthday weekend. Monday we will be open our Sunday hours of 9am until 2pm, look forward to seeing you here! ✌️❤️

On Sunday the 26th of May Brū will be closed, this will enable us to host a family gathering for a milestone birthday.
We appreciate your understanding, but you’ll be pleased to know we will be back to our normal trade bright and early for Monday morning.

What’s new at Brū?! We have extended our milkshake flavours, we now have spearmint and espresso made with a double espresso! We have also brought in our version of the classic kiwi toastie pie, with gluten free options available.

The mince on toast was so popular as a special it earnt itself a place on the menu. This made space for a new daily special.. see in store for details.

Brū will be open from 6:30am on Anzac Day.

For the first time ever at Brū, we present you strawberry and almond gluten free friands! These sweet n light treats are a perfect mid-afternoon treat!

And what do we have here.. a JUMBO coffee that’s what!! This quad shot delight could almost be considered a meal, weighing in at half a litre. Upgrade a flat white, latte or mochaccino to a jumbo for only $3. Enjoy in-house, only available to takeaway with a suitable BYO cup. Alternate milks will be additional to this.
