🚧 Partial intersection closures in the Retail Quarter 🚧

Over the next couple of weeks, we are undertaking the final surfacing of the 5-way intersection on George St. The preparation will be undertaken in two stages, with half the intersection closed at a time.

From Monday 11 March, the lower part of London Street will be closed as we work to connect the already completed section of Frederick Street to the 5-way intersection.

The second stage will take place from 18 March. London St will reopen and access into Knox block will be in only from the 5-way.
The final surfacing of the entire intersection will take place nights from 7 April (weather dependent).

A map of stage one closures is provided below. A map of stage two will be posted ahead of those works commencing.
