Flexible Part-time/Full-time Positions available in our busy Barbershop located in Roslyn, Dunedin. Applicants should have shop experience/relevant training with the ability to communicate effectively and work with a diverse range of ages and styles. Pay rates are dependent on experience and holidays/leave are self managed. WE ARE HIRING. Looking for a confident, friendly and passionate team player to join the roster for 2023. Our clientele range from 5-year old children to seniors, and every style in between, so an open mind to barbering and ongoing self-development will be key to being successful within the position.

WE OFFER: Flexibility to work around your schedule for sports, family, lifestyle etc. Great relationships with our established local clientele. Pay rates starting at $24 upwards depending on experience, with 2 pay rises throughout the year. Payslips/Annual leave/Holidays are self managed and approved online. 10AM start each day. Early finishes, split shifts, weekend work, and late nights can be negotiated as needed.

…after four and a half years since I opened Fresh Prince Barbers, I will be stepping aside to pursue a social working role with Oranga Tamariki. THANK YOU to everyone who believed, challenged, encouraged, taught, inspired me and at times picked me up. I know that you all know who you are and I am forever grateful that you cared. A special thank you to you for trusting in my vision and knowing how to keep the wheels going when I didn’t have the answers, I couldn’t have done this journey without you being there from the start. I’m glad to be able to move on with someone like you to continue the vision. I’ll still be around but as for now my new pathway will be my main focus. If there was one thing I learned along the way is to trust your heart, follow it and share it with as many people as you can… one of the few things we can control in this life. Thank you for the journey and the love and acceptance you all showed me over the years. Che 🖤
