Our coaches have had an awesome few days around different schools this week testing out our rippa rugby skills! 🏉

We absolutely love seeing the kids come out of their comfort zones and become more confident once we start playing some fun games 🤩

Last week we held the 2024 Hills Cluster Cross Country at Bishops Court. Dunedin put on a stunner for us and we had such a great event!! 🏃🏃🏼‍♀️

Big congratulations to all the runners and schools who were involved, was so awesome to see everyone cross the finish line and give it a go - well done! 🤩🥇🥈🥉

We are excited to announce our Term 3 After School programmes.
We believe allowing everyone to try new sports, build confidence and celebrate success is important. This term focuses on Cricket, Rippa Rugby, Athletics, Volleyball and aims to emulate the Kiwi stars aiming for gold in Paris!

These programmes are available currently in the following schools:

⚽️ Broad Bay School - Monday
🏃‍♂️ Mornington School - Wednesday
⚾️ Fairfield School - Thursday

However children from surrounding schools are welcome!

Yesterday George Street had their trip day to Leap + Clip 'n Climb Dunedin 🧗 everyone had heaps of fun…I think a few kids have found their new hidden talent of climbing! Thanks for having us team!! 🤩

Ever wanted to design your own T-Shirt? This is your chance. Come up with a fun sporty design for our new T-Shirts, we'll make the design that we think best represents Kelly Sports. The winner will receive a T-shirt, plus 1 for a friend and a week at one of our school holiday programme

Yesterday we helped Tainui School - Dunedin with their cross country! We loved coming along to see everyone have fun and finish the course - was AWESOME! 🤩

These weekly programmes gives children the skills and confidence in a fun environment that encourages and gives them the confidence to join sports teams and clubs in the community.

Just a reminder that this week is the last week to collect any lost property from the holiday programme. All lost property will be donated if not collected 😄

Collection of lost property available from the Sport Otago Office:
40 Logan Park Drive (anytime between 9-5pm)

Lost property from the recent holiday programme with be kept at the Sport Otago Office (40 Logan Park Drive)

If you see anything that belongs to you pop down between the hours of 9-5 and collect it from reception. After 2 weeks all clothing will be donated 😄

A BIG thank you to NZ Fight And Fitness Academy for having us for both our trip days this week - we loved coming along and learning some new skills!! George Street had their turn at boxing today 🥊 and I think a few of them have found their new hobby! 🤩

🤩 WEEK 2 🤩

Today KVC had their trip day to NZ Fight & Fitness academy where Ryan took the kids through a boxing class 🥊 They learnt some punching combo’s and had heaps of fun with the punching bags!

George Street has their turn tomorrow so reminder to wear active wear 🥵

🍁 That’s a wrap of week 1! 🍁

KVC had the most amazing day out on their trip day yesterday with Monarch Wildlife Cruises! The kids were lucky enough to spot a few seals 🦭 native birds 🐦‍⬛ and come very close to some Albatross 🪶

Today George Street had their ‘Come one, come all’ day 🎪The coaches showed some hidden talent with face painting which was awesome to see! 🤡

KVC and GS have had heaps of fun at Wairoa Scout Camp over the last 2 days! The kids tested their confidence and skill levels on the confidence course, then finished off with a splash on the waterslide 💦
