In truly gutting news, we are reluctantly cancelling our performance at Black Barn Amphitheatre this Saturday due to illness within the band. We would not cancel unless absolutely necessary and apologise to our Hawkes Bay friends and fans. We wish you all a fantastic time with Hello Sailor and the talented artists in support.
In the spirit of keeping the music alive and the show going, the promoters have announced the addition of Hawke's Bay's Suzy Blue, hailing from the coastline of Haumoana. The band is made up of Arahi Whaanga, Wills Van Der Meent & Justin Kennedy. Their unique and energetic style is sure to captivate you, and we are immensely grateful for their enthusiasm in stepping up at such short notice. Jess Atkin & The Urban Cats, Kenya Boerman & Sneeky will tie off the occasion. We trust you will have a great evening, and we look forward to rescheduling a visit to Hawkes Bay very soon.
I wonder what these guys have been listening to? Noel Gallagher

Martin Phillipps of The Chills: ‘There’s common link between New Zealand and Ireland. We’ve both been done wrong’ It’s a long time since Martin Phillipps and his band were the next best thing, but his story of survival is remarkable
It was a tough day with our van breaking down in Birmingham, but we made it on time and it ended up being one of the best shows of the tour. Thank you London.
Influential New Zealand indie band The Chills play first UK dates in six years, including The Wedge | Interview When starting off an interview, it’s always nice to open with a little bit of small-talk, but you don’t expect the simple question of: ‘How are you?’ to go quite like this.
Don’t forget - Martin is doing a QnA at this very special screening of The Chills film tomorrow 1pm in London. Tickets: https://dice.fm/event/knmy8-the-chills-the-triumph-and-tragedy-film-screening-17th-jun-rio-cinema-london-tickets?lng=en
