Raising positivity, hope, and awareness in support of cancer 💛
A single, powerful idea ‒ could a diet starve a brain tumour? Cancer cells thrive on glucose, but struggle to metabolise ketones, and that intrigued neurologist Matthew Phillips.

"Eight years with no evidence of cancer!
I never would have imagined how my life after cancer was gonna play out eight years ago. It had been a longer and crazier journey than I would have expected. Despite that, I am here, and I am pursuing my dream career.
Thank you to all of my doctors, nurses, nurses assistants, physical therapists, professors, family members, friends, and all else who helped me get through the first eight years as a bone cancer survivor. I wouldn’t be at this stage in my cancer-related journey without you all!"

"After my hospital scan I was told there was no treatment available for my inoperable brain tumours. They also told me the cancer would metastisize and that I had about one week left.
I left that hospital and got a second opinion, which told me there was treatment that I could have. I battled through several rounds of chemotherapy, and here I am today, in remission.
Stay strong, be happy, and always have hope in your heart." ♥

"Eight years ago, at age 60, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was told I wouldn't make it, however I continued to battle through 20 radiation sessions, 20 chemotherapy sessions, and lost all of my hair. Now, I am in remission. There is always hope to win the fight. Never give up." ♥
