Our current Miss Frankton Thunder is off to Miss Australasia!
From an old bed spread to Miss Australasia Jo Tweedie, who goes by performer name Stella Moon, is the only Kiwi finalist for Miss Australasia 2024. Her first outfit: a recycled vintage bedspread.
She's a car enthusiast, who admires some old school muscle, you know the old school rough and raw type. She has grown up around cars, racetracks and fixing her own cars under the guidance of her Dad.
She is extremely nervous but excited to take on the challenge of keeping this event alive, thriving and evolving! She loves to see people enjoy themselves, loves seeing the community connect and just watching the people who surround you absorb nothing but love and joy!
An experienced market goer, traveler and attendee whos looking forward to stepping up and serving our community and connecting us all!
Tui is taking on Thunder Markets, and man she's going to rock it. If you want a stall at our 2025 event, PM her or email [email protected]
She has more ink than the Waikato Times and the Herald put together!
She is a huge advocate for body positivity as that's about loving the skin you are wearing and not about size, shape or colours!
She is our third new face to introduce, she is Miss Jessy Junebug aka Jessica!
Jessy is going to be taking over our cool as tattoo comp. So she will be working alongside the guys and gals at Tiger Tattoo. She has ideas people and is not afraid to use them! I can't wait to see what she does.
If you want to know more, have ideas of your own or just want to say a huge hi and welcome.
PM us or email at [email protected]
Introducing our second new face of Frankton Thunder... Jeremy Irons!
Jeremy is a self proclaimed car nutter and has been since birth.
He's co-owner of Frankton Tyre & Alignment Ltd - Goodyear Autocare Frankton. He is your go-to-man for anything tyre related!
A proud Frankton business owner and huge backer of Frankton Thunder.
We are stoked to have Jeremy on board and can't wait to see what cool ideas he comes up with to make Frankton Thunder bigger and better!
He also told me I could pic a photo, so I did :) hehe.
Introducing the first of our new faces of Frankton Thunder!
Hollie, aka Miss Polly Rose! She is colourful, creative, fun and quirky, with red hair to boot! A lover of all things vintage she is no stranger to the Pinup Scene.
She shares this passion for Pinup as a member of the vibrant Beauty School Dropouts team, making other women feel glamorous and beautiful!
She is a lover of makeup, glitter and all things in between, she's excited to join The Frankton Thunder Team!
Hollie will be making sure Miss Frankton Thunder is as epic as ever and has some fantastic ideas to make it even better than ever before! If you need to know anything, flick us a message or email Hollie at [email protected]
We will remember them
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kat and I have been part of Frankton Thunder from when it was just a cool idea.
I sort the fun stuff, you know; the girls, the tattoos, the markets, the food, the kids area and the Facebook etc.
But now I have given it the best part of the last ten years, I am ready to hand it onto others. Others who are very keen to continue to make Frankton Thunder the coolest event in The Tron!
So I will over the next couple of days introduce to you all the new faces of Frankton Thunder...and then I will sign off and say my last see ya laters.
