We are racing today at Ashburton Trotting Club at the ASHBURTON FLYING STAKES MEETING in race two , non winners 3 yr olds and older.

After receiving a check at the stand start last week in Oamaru and recovering , we have drawn 9 and hoping for luck from the stand and hoping to be a top 4 chance.

First start for Lamarli our 4 yr old mare , Sam has been happy with her work and she goes into the race with two trials, we are just hoping she does everything right from the stand and drawing 2 gives her an opportunity to step away and hopefully be close enough to be running home .There some nice maidens in this field so we will be happy with her just doing everything right on her debut run as this is a very exciting time for us and I’m sure we will enjoy this moment of having our colors being on track for the first time 😃
