Here is a before & nearly completed after …. I just couldn’t wait any longer 😊 to share. This is the master bedroom. New headboard, furniture, bedding, carpet, paint, motorised blinds basically a complete overhaul. Brief was to modernise with masculine feel. Ensuite nearly complete too. More photos to come 😊 Also happy to say the items not used found new homes.

Site visit check conducted over the weekend. Everything is moving along nicely, was also sent some progress photos of the kitchen joinery 😊

Don’t underestimate the beauty and ambience that can be created with lighting. This property had one light centred on a 2.7 ceiling. So adding light was essential. These wire cage table lamps provide soft warm light with gorgeous shadows.

It’s a go 😊 goodbye carpet, floor tiles, angled yellow walls, green doors, orange curtains and 90’s vibe. Hello..... sleek, sophisticated elegance, open sight lines, New York style glass doors, light and functionality. This is a whole house transformation in progress. Only at early stages but already super excited. COVID has meant delays and changes but we are full steam ahead starting with the rip out and wall removal in the kitchen and en-suite.

My fantastic design assistant Shirley is off to Auckland. She has found a great job with an architectural firm up there. It’s been so lovely having your help over the past 4 months, you will be missed! All the best and take care x

First off I love colour but you don’t always need it to make an impact. Sometimes it’s about the simplicity of layering textures and the subtle shift of materiality that elevates a room. This room is white on white we used resene black white on the walls and panels which has more of a grey tone to it. It’s crisp but not stark. A great base to then layer soft white interior details with a similar tonal quality. The addition Of timber and cane adds warmth.
