Big day for the welly O’pen Skiff squad. Jack C is 3rd, Jack O is 5th mad Liam Mc is 16th. Breeze got to around 14kn today. More wind forecast for tomorrow. So let’s see. Well done our training has paid off.

Nice training sail today leading upto the O'pen Skiff - AUS & NZL 2020 nationals.

Breeze on today for pre nationals training. Big windward beat towards Kapiti Island then a big send down wind followed by a rabbit start to home.

Final day on the lake. Change of positions up front. Fun had by all. Nice to be warm.

Light close racing at the Whanganui Open Cup. 16 Boats out enjoying the sunshine. Parents had a good day ashore too. Jack O leading Gold and Liam leading silver. Our ring in from down south Max Edwards is a close third in Gold.

Big waves for our training night. Kids are fizzing.

Open Skiff training at Plimmerton Boating Club starts Wednesday 16 October.

Our sailing waters are very similar to Napier where the 2020 Nationals are being held.

Sessions are from 4.30-6.30pm

Open to all Open Skiff sailors in the Wellington region that have competed in Silver or Gold fleet at Open Skiff events.
