18 months of hard work, grit, determination and fun.
Two sessions per week🏋️‍♀️

Alicia came to me with Patella tendinitis of the knees, which is common in netball players.
We focused on fixing this with mobility, strength and flexibility sessions. Slowly building up to using and lifting more weight.

This girl is so strong and can now deadlift and leg press like a boss 💪
With fixed knees, amazing posture and losing a dress size along the way!

Your Training should not be fueled by negative thoughts like, "I hate how I look" and other self-loathing comments.

Train to improve yourself for sure…but train because you want to see how strong you can get.
Train because you are proud of what you're body can do.
Train because you want to test your physical and mental capabilities.
Train because you want to highlight your unique qualities and abilities.
Train because you want to be better than you were yesterday.
But most importantly, train because your quality of life depends on it.

The mid back needs to be addressed when dealing with shoulder pain because of how the shoulder blades and mid back work together for shoulder movement.

The mid back also needs to go through a healthy range of extension to be able to assist with getting the arms overhead.

Prevent/Address shoulder pain, while keeping the Body and Mind in tune 🤸🏼🧘‍♀️

After 3 hip operations and shoulder surgery, daily tasks like walking, hanging out washing and even pouring a bottle of wine were a challenge!

After 6-9 months of rehab/strength training, these challenges became a thing of the past.

4 years on..Still training, a far more Functional and resilient body!

Creating new healthy habits and most of all significantly improving strength and overall fitness to cope with the demands of a full time job and busy small children 🥰

Small lifestyle changes help our overall health and fitness.
To lose body fat we need to be in a calorie deficit.
Many people rave about a keto diet, intermittent fasting, paleo diet etc- which I’m not dismissing at all- but it all comes down to the same thing…you will be consuming less calories following those plans so therefore be in a calorie deficit 🤷‍♀️

You dont have to be miserable and eat salad leaves every day. Or do heaps of cardio that you hate because ‘it’s good for quick fast loss’- not true! Eating your favourite foods in moderation and doing exercise you enjoy is way more attainable.

Set yourself a performance goal… maybe to walk more or to do that 1 full press up or pull up that you’ve always wanted to do and celebrate the small wins along the way 🙌

Starting weight for Andy was 96kg, finishing weight 88kg. A loss of -8kg in 3 months. A calorie deficit and playing lots and lots of golf🏌️‍♂️with added weight training sessions built in along the way.
Andy is realising how amazing strength training is for us all round. Our next goal is to build more muscle 🏋️‍♀️

Completely over hauled nutrition here to eating MORE, balancing out blood sugar levels and consistently training with me for the last 4 months = -13kg weight loss 🤩
