SPORTS FUN-DAMENTAL CLASSES START FOR TERM 1 VERY SOON. These awesome classes help introduce children to fundamental sports skills such as balance, coordination, focus, body movement and control, teamwork and social interaction. Each week is set up for a different sporting code with a wide variety of fun and engaging activities for children to try.

* Delivery of fortnightly payroll (Crystal)

* Undertake in-depth financial analysis to enhance efficiency and profitability.
* Providing financial expertise to CEO and NCSRT Board/Committees

CONGRATULATIONS to our MainPower Youth Sports Scholarship recipients, who each received $2000 towards their sporting journey. We are very lucky to have such dedicated athletes in North Canterbury, all of whom are competing on the world stage. A huge thank you to those local businesses who support this awesome initiative - Waipara Wines, Active Health and, of course, MainPower, who have provided us an opportunity to award over HALF A MILLION DOLLARS to over 150 recipients since 2004! Congratulations once again to all the recipients! π
Join us on Sunday 29th of October for our new mountain bike event - the Rakahuri 123 MTB race. This race have been designed to cater for all speed and skill levels, with riders as young as 8 years old able to take part. For the more serious riders it'll be a great warm up ahead of the 6/12hr event the following weekend.
Please note this is NOT Rakahuri Rage 2.0! Its a whole new event with a different format and using a different part of the Rakahuri Trail that is fun and challenging for everyone.
You'll choose to ride 1, 2 or 3 laps of the 12km course based out of the Rangiora Showgrounds. While you'll race as an individual there is an option to form "teams" with your friends, family, school or workmates to create an extra level of competition and fun.

Last week, our hearts were heavy as we said goodbye to our awesome AMBERLEY Fitness Centre Team Leader Nastasia Thorpe, who has left the Trust after almost 10 years! Some of you may remember Starzy from the days of the AMI gym at Rangiora High School? Thank you to the many faithful gym goers who helped celebrate her time with us. Starzy, however, is not going far, so we know we will continue to see her smiling face around the place π We will miss you Starzy! β₯οΈ

NCSRT welcomes Braxton Taua | NCSRT is happy to welcome BRAXTON TAUA to the team, joining the MainPower Primary School Coaching programme. Nicknamed βBraxβ, he is Canterbury born and bred, having attended Tuahiwi Primary School when and were coaches themselves. Braxton now lives in Christchurch, having studied Sport Coaching at UC. He loves Vietnamese dumplings and coaching rugby. When he isnβt providing resource coaching for Canterbury Rugby, he says he is usually beating (fellow primary school coach) at basketball (Codyβs favourite sport) or lifting heavier weights than (one of our PTβs). One thing he hasnβt conquered yet is the Rubikβs cube, but itβs definitely on his list! Please join us in welcoming Braxton to the team.
