With the markets coming up in a couple weekends over in ngatea my brother has been putting some good hours into making some more awesome serving paddles and boards to add to our collection 😁

This cheeky little chessboard colab with turned out awesome👌 slick little black frame compliments the chessboard and it’s surrounding

Used kauri and rimu to create all the different squares 😁

Spent the morning finishing off this epic job!

-Recessed alcohol shelf and beer fridge
- floating shelf in the toilet

Turned some old Rimu shelving supplied by client into a beautiful recessed shelf. backing was random size ship lap profile and a glass shelf to cater for shot glasses etc.

Floating shelf is weathered pohutukawa that I cleaned up with a wire brush, also burnt some of it for effect and chiseled in some washers then sealed with a satin clear coat.

Working on some bar leaner legs made from recycled kauri. Can’t go wrong with a mortise and tenon join.

Excited to see the end result! I have a 1600x580 top ready to be fitted once the legs are glued and set.
