At the end of last term we were very proud to award Luc his Chief Scout Rimu Award (the highest award in the scout section). As Kaiārahi we are very proud of his achievement!

Luc has come a long way from the scout that had to be sent back into the kitchen to complete the dishes. We remember conversations early on, where he would tell us things like "it was his job to only do fun things".

We have seen Luc grow into a young adult who has shown a lot of growth and maturity. He is now not only capable of doing dishes but also leading his patrol as a patrol leader and organising overnight events. Luc has shown drive and commitment to complete this award. We look forward to seeing where you go with the rest of your scouting journey.

OPEN DAY!

Paparangi Scout Group is hosting an open day on Sunday 30 October from 1 - 3pm.
We will have games and activities for kids & youth (& the young at heart) to participate in, Scout Leaders available to speak to about Scouting, free home baking and a sausage sizzle!

If you've ever thought about joining Scouts, come along! We'd love to see you there.

Paparangi Scout Group youth are collecting plastic bread tags and foil lined packets to be donated to charity. Helping with this is a great step for young people to give back to their community.

Bread Tags: Plastic ones only please! These are collected to be melted, sold and to purchase wheelchairs.

Foil lined packets: Chip & biscuit packets, chocolate & muesli bar wrappers etc. Instead of spending 80+ years in landfill, please collect any shiny foil lined packets. Wash first then flatten.

PLEASE ask your friends and neighbours to also collect!

Donations can be dropped off to the Scout Hall during our Group nights (see 'About' for details).
