This Villa renovation is a classic transformation, blending a modern open-concept layout to create a seamless flow of living spaces - perfect for entertaining or relaxing as a family. The addition of skylights floods the space with natural light, highlighting the elegant finishes and high-end materials used. The outdoor landscaping was enhanced with decking, pergola and home office, all of which maximise the stunning views of Petone Beach.

Another one qualified! Massive congrats to George for achieving his carpentry qualification. We took George on to help with the building of our family home. Three years later, he’s managed his first new build project. Proud as!

Project Ngatoto - a masterclass in retaining the heritage character of a property while infusing the look and feel of a five-star hotel. The home was stripped back to its bones, including the uplifting and rebuilding of the subfloor, which was then overlaid with herringbone timber flooring. In the lounge and dining rooms, we opened up walls to help create a better flow and cohesion. We added an oversized slider, which connects the office to the lounge and allows the clients to open up or close off these joining spaces. This extensive renovation also included a new main bathroom, ensuite, and wardrobes in the bedrooms — lastly, the thoughtfully designed and simply stunning kitchen. Hidden behind floor-to-ceiling oak-stained doors is an integrated laundry. The Calcutta benchtop, island back, and waterfall ends are opulence — classic-meets-contemporary magic.

Mid winter fun with the team last night. ABs didn’t get the result we were hoping for, but a great night out!

That’s a wrap for us 2021. We’re heading away for some R&R! A massive shout out to our team, the broader team of trades, architects, and clients we have worked with this year. It’s been a big one for us, a new business, a new home, and a new family member! But we love doing what we do, and the support of everyone involved allows our team to thrive and evolve. We can’t wait to share some exciting projects coming up in 2022. We hope everyone has a safe and festive summer break with their loved ones!

We have teamed up with Epic Homes Limited Hutt Valley to help deliver two new builds. Subfloor, frames and trusses all up for one of the homes, ready for roofing, wrap and cladding in the New Year.
