It was an exciting game down at Victoria Park last night when the mighty Waterford Six fought hard in the Touch finals. It was a close game, going into extra time and dropping team players. Unfortunately the win did not go our way be we walked away knowing we gave it our all. Well done team!

This month saw Waterford Security once again sponsoring the Rotary Club of Port Nicholson Goal Setter Awards presentation at the Intercontinental Hotel There were three recipients who received scholarships of $3,500. Each has experienced considerable hardship in their lives.
Hannah Gibson, who received her award the previous Club meeting is planning to complete a PhD in cultural anthropology this year researching how people respond to the different vulnerabilities inherent in the experience of infertility and the surrogacy process. Kahui Tihore is expecting to shortly complete his Bachelor of Commerce degree and intends to undertake postgraduate studies in management. Melissa Dol has completed her third year of medical studies through University of Otago while working 20hrs a week, volunteering and looking after her mother!
Grant Robertson was the guest speaker and presented the awards.
We sincerely congratulate Hannah, Kahui and Melissa on their award and wish them every success going forward.
